I really wish they all had the white border on their visors like Black. Blue's is so hard to see.

Huh, did not realize they had lips on their helmets. Nooooot a big fan of helmets with lips, honestly. But at least they're not like, SUPER prominent like most helmet lips are. I can't tell though if they ALL have that, though, since we're not getting a closeup of the other Kyuuranger's helmets.

I like helmets with lips sometimes because it makes them feel classy, like old armour that would have human features sculpted on. It makes sense for more mystical series to have mouths, versus something like In Space which is very technology based and uses simpler suits.

Dunno if the mouths fit this universe yet but purely aesthetically, they look subdued enough that it doesn't look awkward, IMO.

I always thought they looked weird on helmets personally, but I get where you're coming from. And yea, I'm fine with how they're subdued, definitely looks nicer than having them prominent. I just wonder if they ALL have lips. OushiBlack doesn't seem like it, since his visor almost goes to his chin.

So i was right about the mouth plates being like ohranger. I remember seeing it in one of the rumors. Dog the starfield effect on the visors. Im a sucker for pink rangers so its probably one of my favorite suit designs.

It looks lile they all have it except for black. Yellow and pinks is easier to tell if you zoom in.

I'm betting he does too. We're just having a harder time seeing them because he's black.

I think you're right. I think TenbinGold's is just a smooth plate, though. I don't see any sort of shadow or indentation that would suggest he has helmet lips.

Oh youre right. I know silver has one from the head shot in the mecha page. TenbinGolds reminds me of toqger a bit.

I take back what I said earlier about black potentially having lips. He don't. His visor comes down too far.

I still don't think there's a starfield in the visor. The smaller photos with the 9 rangers don't show them all that well, and if we're just going off the top image with the starfield, there's also a Megazord in that photo too.

Green pretty clearly gets screwed in the signature mode department. I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be or even how it's meant to be held. Maybe it's a whip? Sure, I can say the same thing about Blue's, but it at least looks cool, whatever it is exactly. Still, 8 out of 9 modes looking cool is pretty darn impressive.

The belt as storage would be cool... if it wasn't just ONE. Sheesh, and I thought Kamen Rider accessory holders' capacity was tiny, this is ridiculous.

Yes. That is exactly what it's called. To be more specific it's an Epee.

It's ironic that Toei keeps trying to bring back Metal Heroes to no success, yet elements of it in Kamen Rider - and now Super Sentai seem to go over big!

I love these designs, I like that some are clearly made for alien lifeforms, but still fit the monochrome motiff and I dig the series premise.

Could this be the Heisei equivalent to Jetman?

I'm digging the modular style weapons now that I can get a better look. Though some are more impressive than others :lol

Man I didn't notice this before since the scans were blurry but ShishiRed's sword is HUGE in that picture. Kinda makes me wonder about the size of the others' weapons since we're just getting what the toy looks like.

Ah... got to remember it's a toy, and thus ridiculously short. A fencing blade never even crossed my mind. Heck, I even considered wand at one point.

Also doesn't help that modern fencing isn't really my thing. Medieval weaponry is far more my jam than Renaissance stuff. Usually in the form of correcting people spouting crap like 20 or 30 pound swords or knights drowning in the mud just from falling off their horse...

The higher resolution scans are definitely appreciated. The star field effect for the vizors is a nice touch. The mecha look good, but are over-all a little underwhelming. The only one I don't really like is the lion, which could use some more moving parts/joints to help make it look a bit less like it's just the torso on it's back. That said, I'm curious to see how future torso mecha look. I can imagine a dragon working well with this format.

Only thing I wish we had a better look at is the changer. It looks interesting, but I'm not sure what all is going on with it. I don't usually bag on BoA like this, but it definitely looks like a design they won't do any justice to when making their version of it for PR.

I love the designs especially for the Black ranger. These scans have me hyped. I can't wait for Kyuuranger.

And the show prop will be infinitely better looking. The role play toys are always goof-tastrophies.

From what I see of Tenbin Gold so far I feel like he will either be a robot or a super logic-oriented lifeform akin to Data or Spock from Star Trek.
I mean you dont often see a scale as a motif minus Saint Seiya and Fourze.
Or maybe an ex-police officer.

The suits look even better in higher detail. That starfield effect is terrific! I wish the black on the torso went all the way down to the waist. It just looks... strange to cut it off there. Maybe it'll grow on me.

The KyuTamas look very similar to the Zyudenchi from Kyoryuger; seems like roughly the same functionality. The modular weapons are a nifty idea, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they look in-show. The Seiza Blaster is... UGH, it's so close to being cool, but it's just a little too toy-like for my taste. At least it looks like one of the flaps can fold down.

...so the Kyurangers sit inside the giant KyuTamas at the front of the mecha? Did Pacific Rim teach us nothing? (Show for kids, I know.)

And as for KyurenOh, I hope the minipla can redeem it. There doesn't seem to be much transformation involved for any of the components. I appreciate that all the limbs are capable of being arms and legs, but we're not getting Combiner Wars here. A few of the mecha - mostly for the secondary team - look pretty good, but the mecha for the core team are a little "meh" for me. (I mean, it's not even in the same category of design as Zyuoh King, but I was hoping for something a little more Solar Saver.)

Man I really hope this bucks the "No Sentai figuarts" trend. I mean, it probably won't, but I *adore* these suits.

The suits are AMAZING! I love the helmet design. OMG the arms and legs on the mech are interchangeable! AWESOME!!

This keeps on getting better! The more I see the more I like! The suits are awesome, can't wait to have a proper look of the actual figures! The black ranger is looking really sweet!

So the names I have shared previously for the 9 weapon modes were true.
In case y'all forgot here they are.

Yeah, the uncharacteristically bulky frame with the suit of different material, especially the more robotic details, as seen in the shoulders and fingers.

Interesting that gold, who shares some of these traits, also has a collar that dips in the front, like black.

This was the same thing I was thinking when pics were first shown.

Toei seems to beat the dead horse by trying every time for Metal Heros to be success.

Lets see if it success with this Sentai time will tell.
