The long box means the dimensions of the shipping box are much larger, and that contributes to shipping as much as weight after a certain point.

Yeah I remembered that one much later when I thought about the combination. But in its defense, the Battlezord at least extended at the legs, the head became the combination's helmet, and the gatling guns extended out over the Battlezord's hands. Which is a lot more than what they do with the Ryuteioh. One of the ways I thought of just involves turning the lower legs of Ryuteioh into shoes for Kyurenoh while keeping the rest pretty much the same.

I think the design idea was to keep the modular limb gimmick of both robots intact which pretty much meant that any changes to those sections were off limits. I do agree that something should of been done with the lower legs of RyuTeioh, maybe have them attach to the shoulders or something.

I understand, but they could of put peg holes in the bottom of Taurus and Wolf without affecting the limb gimmick. Also Ursa is not a very good limb.

But then you would have to put peg holes on all the other limb voyagers so that they could become the legs.

Speaking of the campaign, do we have a list of whose in or out other than CStoys?

Does anyone know if the plan for Ohguma Skyblue was scrapped? The reason I ask this is because every time Kotaro uses the Ohguma Kyutama, he just becomes giant. Maybe they'll reveal the form later, but I just thought it's weird that it hasn't been used yet.

Those extra 16.5 cm of length make all the difference. A box big enough to accommodate it would likely break the size restriction on SAL, making the more expensive shipping options the only ones, with the added cost that such a large box would bring by itself.

Opted to avoid stressing about the Ohguma Kyutama like I did Pegasus and just bought one straight out. It's running a good bit higher than Pegasus did on the secondary market though. Still, it's worth it to avoid fighting to get one with a purchase.

The box for Ryu Voyager is very large and long. Here's the size of the box in wotafa's recent hauls.

If I were to buy Ryu Voyager and ship it with EMS it gives me a total of about 7100 yen. With that money, you could get another KyuRenOh pretty much.

Too bad there's no lights and sounds like kyurenoh + the articulation sucks in both dragon and humanoid mode. At least kyurenoh got electronics and 4 limbs to swap around the kyutamas.

From what I've read elsewhere HLJ is not participating in the campaign. I haven't seen any communication quoted though. As for this one being more, I've heard there were fewer of Ohguma produced than Pegasus but, again, I have seen no hard evidence to back up the claim.

Ooh, nice to see it starting to show up on Mandarake though I think I might wait and see if I can get it at a lower price. Pegasus was only about 800 yen on Mandarake but I wonder what the distribution numbers are like for the two.

I've also bought the Koguma Sky Blue Vinyl. I'm not really a fan of Toei's Vinyls, they're too big for my taste, but I couldn't help myself when it came to Koguma. He's pretty much the most adorable thing ever. I mean, look at him! He uses his scarf as a ball-and-chain! And I think he even has tiny claws under his gloves.

I just bought a Pegasus Kyutama! CSToys had a couple for sale today and I was able to get my hands on one. I didn't think I would ever get my hands on one honestly but now I'll be able to add a premium Kyutama to my growing collecting of space orbs.

Bunch of new stuff for Kyuranger stuff up on HLJ. Only preordered the SP Kyutama set at the moment.

May buy Cerberus Voyager, but it's maybe since it's a retool and repaint of Shishi Voyager, and some other things I don't like about it. I like the colour, the Kyutama, and the mecha's head though.

After taking a break from toy collecting for a couple of weeks, I'm pleased to say that I am planning on purchasing 4 Kyutama along with a couple of items from CSToys in a couple of days. I still don't know how many Kyutama I plan on getting but I'm up to 13 now just encase anyone was curious. I still haven't bought most of the transformation Kyutama yet, save for ShiShi, Kajiki, and Koguma, but I'm not really in any rush to. Besides, I'm more interested in the effect Kyutama for some reason.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned this early, but I was able to get my hands on a Pegasus Kyutama! It was, unfortunately, not worth all of the hops that had to be jumped through to get it and it certainly wasn't worth the almost 20$ price that I payed for it. That being said, I don't regret buying it. Its a numbered Kyutama and the design is nice as always. Besides, lord knows the clock is ticking before it starts costing an arm and a leg...

Kind of a side note, but is the Base portion of Gigant HouOh a part of the mecha itself, or is it strictly for the combination? I'm looking at the pictures, both of the toy and suit, and don't see any indication of it on the mecha unless its hidden.

HouOh Voyager is pretty cheap on Mandarake, but they don't give a shipping quote at all. It is NUTS on HLJ. Anyone have any experience ordering from Mandarake or have a general idea which shipping method tends to be the least expensive for something so big?
