Too bad they didn't do a Lockseed. I can see why, but if they actually did a translucent green Kachidoki Melon Lockseed I’d have to buy it.

I saw someone suggest they probably don't have the lockseed molds on hand anymore, which is probably right. Still a little disappointing to just be another Ridewatch though

Oh damn these aren't even questionable, Faiz, Blade and Ex-Aid are all rather beloved, especially Poppy. Eternal also got a prequel movie for a reason lol

Would have loved Skull to be in there, but not a bad set

I've been picking up the SODO Zi-O stuff, and looking at all the forms, it occurs to me that the Armor Time for early Heisei stage two Riders got way more unique and interesting designs than the rest of the forms. Most of the Armor Time sets follow the theme from the early retail releases, so the suits are essentially same armor except for the chest, shoulders, and upper thighs, presumably to support the retail gimmick of both Zi-O and Geiz using the forms.

Decade, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, and Gaim are all way more interesting, abandoning the generic silver/black armor. Even W abandons the armor conceit; the lower body is just standard Zi-O. They aren't reversible presumably because the retail figures didn't allow for it. I'm curious why these specific Riders got unique designs, but the rest of the Riders follow the same semi-generic format.

The other thing that intrigues me is that so much is clearly based on the retail action figure line, which seems to have mostly abandoned Armor Time. If we ever see Wizard or Gaim, I imagine they'll be Premium Bandai.

I'm reminded of Build. Bandai designed a zillion "Best Match" forms - I seriously lost count, and SODO could barely keep up - and while most of them made their way to the show, the BCS line gave up on them.

I keep hoping that Bandai will scale back the alternate forms, since they have such a direct impact on the related show. I suppose if they did that, though, they wouldn't be able to sell as many transformation widgets.

Unfortunately I have to say I'm very disappointed in the Trinity ride watch. Initially I thought the white parts would be silver like the catalog scan . To me personally from the catalog scan, It looked as if it were to have a camera motif. I thought that was a pretty dope idea and it sits with the time travel theme of the show you know a camera capturing a still frame in time. But yet with my wallet burnt taches with the unfortunate prices of the ride watches I'm still buying it. I'm definitely going to repaint the white part silver so check out my channel kamen rider Leo On YouTube and I am going to make a customization video and hopefully I can inspire you to make your own

I love that the Chaser Mach Ridewatch uses "itteiijo" as the final attack. Such an awesome callback. Also it used Chaser transformation standby in the armor jingle, where the Chaser Ridewatch used the finisher standby
