So, they'll release the rest of the forms soon, right? Gun form prolly be next. Part of me wants a separate armor pack that has all the three other forms but I also want the three to have their own releases with plat form. |

also, Dark Kabuto, Faiz Axel, Cyclone Cyclone, Genm lvl 0, Build Rabbit Dragon, when? |
ok now, for the stickers

I would so buy anything else from build or ex-aid.
|
I'm kinda surprised Genm doesn't come with Level 0 stickers. Would have been so easy to throw in as an option

I would absolutely die if they did Dangerous Zombie By the by, anyone with the W Model Kits; is it easy enough to swap out the two sides, or is it something you REALLY don't want to do unless you're building a Cyclone/Metal or whatever from the start? |

Speaking of RabbitDragon https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DlfX6QcV...jpg&name=large Someone made a custom and it looks gorgeous! |

You also replace the belt with a split version. |

EDIT - I think the split stuff ShiShiLeo is talking about is for the Joker Extreme finish. |
Yeah, the split pieces are just for the finishers. Form swapping can just be achieved through normal deconstruction: http://dalong.net/reviews/etc/frs40/frs40_p.htm
It works more or less the same as the old SIC figure. |
Then that's absolutely perfect! I was thinking of going for him next if I have some extra cash so thank you for the help :)

Six minutes and twenty-four seconds later... https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2671.jpg (I apologize for ambushing any CycloneTrigger fans on the boards.) https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2672.jpg (CycloneTrigger Warning.) Anything else I can do to help, let me know! |
Huh, so... that's awesome, but how does it work, and why can't CycloneTrigger simultaneously be a thing? Does it not just come apart in two halfbodies at the middle?

Social Distance Warriors of Justice! Notes: -There are stickers you can add to the Double Driver for every combination, but I didn't feel like adding them. There is a little LunaJoker indicator you can add, though. -Definitely switch out the Gaia Memories before you put the Driver back on, because they are in there tight and you don't got a lot of clearance due to the torsos. Also, use tweezers to get 'em out! EDIT: I'll do a more in-depth explanation of how they work later if people want, with photos, but I gotta go watch AEW so byeeeeee |

And thank you, that image illustrates things perfectly |
SPLIT LIP is, of course, invaluable and succinct. The Double kits are all constructed so that they can be easily disassembled and recombined. (It's actually so easy to pull them apart that certain elements, like the torso, might start to come off of the central channel just by posing. Not always, but somewhat often.)
Here's a few more photos to try and illustrate that effect, and some of the specifics to CycloneJoker: https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2674.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2675.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2676.jpg Here's some detail on how the torso comes off. It pegs in separately from the abdomen and the neck. https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2677.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2678.jpg Here's the whole left side of the body removed. The abdomen is a thin shell that clips onto the central channel. The hip pegs in, and then the leg sockets in. Everything's super-easy to pry off and pop back on. Stuff comes off from either side of the channel, and it doesn't matter which side you disassemble. Like, LunaTrigger can have the Trigger half taken off of the central channel, or the Luna half. Whichever you want. https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2679.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2680.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2681.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2682.jpg https://challengerscomics.com/images...o/IMG_2683.jpg CycloneJoker does come with a gimmick the other Double kits lack: Joker Extreme! Basically, you pull all of the pieces off of the central channel, and then peg them onto these new central channels independent of each other. As ShiShiLeo noted, doing this means the neck, torso, and abdomen pieces won't move. The arms and legs can still pose, but everything on the main body is stuck in place. There are also halfbody versions of the Driver and the antenna. Best of all, the two halves work on an inner track, so you can slide the Joker half into a descending profile. Like combining the halves with other kits, it's super easy to play around with this after you've built everything. It's not an either-or proposition. I really love these kits. Anything else folks want to know about them, I'm happy to help. |
I couldn’t resist the temptation and assembled Ex-Aid yesterday! More pics later.
|
Small question. How good would these kits be for someone with mildly shaky hands and absolutely no experience with model kits?
I was thinking about picking up one, but I want to make sure it won't explode while I'm putting it together or something. |
Quote:
I can’t vouch for your shaky hands, though — without wanting to ask for your medical information on a forum about building model kits of punchy bugmen, how bad is it? |
Quote:
While I've never built an FRS kit myself, from what I've gathered these kits are about the same sort of process that alot of HG Gunpla are, which I have built with my friends a couple times. And assuming I'm right about that, these should be easy enough to handle for you. If you know anyone who's done model kit building before, ask them to help you out. If not, I recommend picking up a Mr. Basic Tool Set and then maybe watching one or two tutorials on YouTube to get the gist of things. Just make sure to work over a spot where parts won't easily get lost if you happen to drop them and you should be fine. |

If they ever release Gekitotsu robots I wonder will it be just an armour/ alternate parts or a completely new figure? I’m betting on new figure since Ex-Aid isn’t exactly easy to separate.
|
How do you put in Ex-Aid’s breaker into hammer mode?
