We’ve got some naming clarifications... apparently these are “confirmed.”

Zenkaiger Names:
ZenKaiser (White)
ZenkaiJuran (Red, DaiZyuJin robot)
ZenkaiGaon (Yellow, GaoKing robot)
ZenkaiMagine (Pink, MagiKing robot)
ZenkaiVroon (Blue, DaiBouken robot)

Gattai names:
ZenkaiOh JuraGaon
ZenkaiOh VrooMagine

Pretty much in line with everything we've heard till now. At least the blue pink combinatiom isn't called BuruMagine. VrooMagine actually sounds more in line with the other combo name and references boukengers vehicle theme along with magiking.

If this is confirmed, then i hope the toys look great and really push their homages.

Sentai gear have heard ranger team on front and robot on back but is there any possibility that sentai gear like ranger key have each individual ranger on front with robot on back like red use red pink use pink etc

They may do that for gashapon or some dx releases, cause 45 team medals seems like a small ammount for a collectible line. Its more than likely they'll do individual ranger and mech gear to fill out the line. So you'll probably get your wish.

If genuine, this would imply that the series doesn't overly reference every single Sentai in direct terms. That would make it easier for adaptation purposes, especially if the main team is themed after Sentai/Mecha which have already been used!

Speaking purely with Sentai in mind.....CAN TOEI HURRY IT UP AND RELEASE SOME TOY AND SUIT IMAGES ALREADY!!!???

So basically Sokichi Banba 2.0 and his mechanical posse. This feels like what if Masato/Beet Buster and the four buddyroids formed their own sentai team. And fun fact, that color palette is the same as the dream team from Gaoranger VS Super Sentai, comprised of Big 1(white), Red Falcon, Ginga Blue, Go Yellow, and Mega Pink.

Definitely too bulky to be the sentai suits themselves. It's either...

- Pink and Yellow's robot forms
- Kaijin
- Civilian robots from their machine world (this is a thing right?)

As someone who doesn't watch much Sentai, these rumors all sound incredible. Might have to actually watch an entire series for once

If I were to personally recommend from each decade, from the 80s Liveman, 90s Gingaman, 2000s Shinkenger, 2010s Gokaiger. And the recent Kiramager is a good one.

Well my recommendations from each decade would be Flashman from 80s, Jetman from 90s, Go-Onger from 00s, Zyuohger from 10s and Kiramager from 20s.

To that I say: Go for it! Go! Go! Go! The best place to start is a Sentai with a theme you can already get into.

I agree with both Sh Ranger, and Agentjx. First of all go for a theme you like more than anything else because that means you are more likely to enjoy it. If you don't care for dinosaurs for example you might not enjoy Abaranger as much as someone who loves dinosaurs.

I do recommend Jetman for 1 reason above all others- there's no power rangers counterpart to potentially affect your opinion or compare it to, and it stands on its own pretty well. With stuff like Go-Onger RPM was great it was very different from Go-Onger and Go-onger was fun but honestly if i had to choose one i'd choose RPM.

Zyuohger i personally dont care for not because of the story or anything but the mecha design, but Kiramager is super fun so far. But again look for a theme be it the story synopsis, or even just the visual aspects.

Sentai 35th anniversary they can become past Sentai, 45th anniversary they are based on past Mecha, so in the 55th anniversary will they be based on past monsters or something?

The Zyuohger Team is "past Mecha"!? Didn't Boukenger do the "Villains-themed-after-Mecha" thing while Zyuohger did the "Villains-themed-after-Older-Villains-and-Monsters" thing?

Zyuohger was the 40th, Zenkaiger is the 45th.

Real talk, I wanted to say Jetman but I figured someone was gonna recommend it so I went with Gingaman for the sake of variety. That said, have y'all seen Liveman?

Which reminds me, that ramen cart owner in that Dai/Green Flash-centric episode is Takeru/Red Mask from Maskman and that one Sara/Yellow Flash-centric episode's guest character is Shou/Change Gryphon from Changeman. Forgot the episode numbers though, dang.

Yeah, either Shinkenger or ToQger and Jetman are the two past series I'm most interested in, due to already being familiar with Kobayashi and Inoue's writing in Kamen Rider. I hear Shinkenger and Jetman are viewed as some of the best seasons, and while I know ToQger isn't as universally beloved, the things I've heard about it make it sound like something I'd really enjoy. Only problem is finding the time to watch another series. It's taken me most of the year to watch Kuuga, and I'm still not done! I really need to finish Faiz after dropping it a year or two ago also. There's also more Rider series I really need to watch, and I've been wanting to get into Ultra too. problem with not getting into toku until 2018 is that there's a hell of a backlog to get caught up on

Liveman's pretty great though. That totally would have been my third choice for 80s after Flashman and Bioman.

At least we agree that Kiramager is the best show of the 20s. :p

Yeah, definitely finish Faiz, it's the Jetman of Kamen Rider! For Kobayashi shows, I think Timeranger and Gobusters are the best that she's written. Shinkenger is okay. Can't speak for Gingaman. I wouldn't touch ToQGer at all, it sucks, but hey, it's your choice, I'm not going to stop you.

Shinkenger has an incredible final 15-ish episodes. The beginning is pretty good, the middle is kind of weak, but dang, those last 15-or-so episodes are fire. While Timeranger and Gobusters are overall more consistent, no Kobayashi Sentai tops Shinkenger's endgame.

ToQger isn't great, but I don't think it sucks. I like it better than Gingaman, so, IMO, it's not Kobayashi's worst Sentai.

I loved Toqger a lot! It's very much like Kiramager; it fully embraces what's wonderful and silly about Sentai and doubles down on it.

Genta is insufferable, but the rest of the show is okay and yeah, the final arc where Kaoru shows up is probably the best part.

I think ToQGer isn't just Kobayashi's worst Sentai but rather the worst Sentai. I haven't watched Gingaman yet but I've heard it's meh, which is already better than terrible.

Without spoilers, what do you think is so bad about Gingaman?

Genta's a very fun character. I think the episode he gets the lamp mecha highlights the worst parts of Shinkenger, but aside from that he's genuinely just an enjoyable guy to watch. Definite shoutouts to Kaoru being one of my favourite Sentai characters of all time, though!

ToQger's a lot of things, "sucks" isn't one of them.

Hell, it's got one of the most robust villain factions out of recent sentai with how developed they were as characters.

Wagon and the soundtrack are the only parts that I like. I'm sticking with "it sucks".

Oh that's right, I forgot about Timeranger. That's number one on my list of sentai to watch. Been trying to convince a friend who likes subbed anime but hasn't watched any toku to give it a shot with me. My very vague memories of the Power Rangers adaptation as a child are very positive, and from what I hear it was a pretty faithful adaptation, in a good way

I also love Magiranger, which I only bring up because thats another one that gets a lot of undeserved hate among sentai diehards.

This I know. What confuses me is the idea that the Zyuohger themselves are themed after past Mecha, when the main anniversary theme is the Deathgalian Players being themed after older Sentai Monsters!

I hunk he stumbled upon a joke in the Kamen Rider UK Facebook page, where someone posted a group shot of the Dark Necroms and joked that the new Sentai had leaked.

That's on me! Must of looked at the initial post wrong. My bad.

I gotta say, I love how accepting everyone is about what sentai you do and don't like. Nobodies complaining about somebody having "bad taste" for liking a series they don't, instead the attitude seems to be "Every sentai has something for somebody"
