I took the liberty of summarizing all of the info Color809 leaked on Baidu today
What we know so far: -Gotchard’s belt is orange, the center of the belt has a display screen, very similar to the concept belt shown off during the transformation exhibition, but with handles on both sides -Their gimmick is cards, they use a barcode system ala decade and decker. Swipe two cards to transform, the card combination for the base form is locust + steam train. The cards have a kind of rarity system. -Gotchard’s base form is blue, with goggles on his forehead and a white scarf around their neck. His eyes resemble two arrows facing each other -It would seem that Gotchard primarily has a nautical motif, with that being the most prominent design element in his suit, with the motifs from his gimmicks (locust and steam train) being more minor -Alongside Gotchard, there seems to be two other riders from the start |

So the gimmick will be cards? What kind? Trading cards? Playing cards? Credit/Debit cards? Keycards? |

Considering the nautical theme being the major influence on the costume, I'm guessing that different Riders will be more likely to have different henshin devices this season.

Just going by White Knight Chronicles |
Given cards are the collectibles, I'm expecting at least one to look like a cross between a Duel Disk from Yu-Gi-Oh and the circular controls where cards are placed on the arcade machine Datas is based on.

According to Color (the leaker), this sketch is the closest to what Gotchard actually looks like so far, particularly in how the eyes look

The other Chinese leaker (in the same vein as color) drew what the eyes look like. Worth noting that unlike the last post they have actually seen the suit. Looks like the eyes have a kind of gradient on them

Eyes kind of remind me of Zi-O.

The nautical theme is cool, especially since it hasn't been used since... X. I mean just as the main one, not separate forms like OOO or Snipe. If it also shifts the action to the port, giving us some new locations would be generally wonderful. On the other hand, recalling last year's mistakes, he is most likely not a sailor, but a traffic controller.
But I don't really like the transformation mechanism. Geats also uses two items, and two fusing cards are so Ultraman-like that it smacks of plagiarism. Although, I must admit, the locust and the steam locomotive have not yet been used, but they go well together. |

A few more minor updates from the two leakers. First is an another drawing of Gotchard?s eyes, this time from color himself. The visor shape reminds me a lot of Ex-Aid, only new info here is that his eyes are red They also provided a mock up of how the cards will look and how they interact with the driver. It appears that each card will have the rider design on both sides, then when they?re either inserted or scanned (not super clear on how exactly the belt works), the designs merge in the middle and form the full image. Next up is Color talking about the production process between Geats and Gotchard. There?s no new info about Gotchard themselves, but I know that there?s people who are interested in behind the scenes stuff so I figured I?d include it Lastly, Iv (the other Chinese leaker alongside Color) said that this sketch of Gotchard?s helmet is very close, plus another version that includes Color?s earlier sketch |
Seems like the driver might use lenses/mirrors to create an illusion. Something like Woz's Beyond Driver but using a stereoscopic diptych

If the arrow eyes are happening, I like that.
I also love how the way the goggles are positioned remind me of Showa riders. |
In love with that helmet. Feels very Heisei phase 1. The Reiwa era has had such consistently strong helmet design for Main Riders. Even Saber, which didn't work for me personally, I still respected the very clear visual identity it had
|
I think we can confirm that the name is portmanteau of "Gotcha" and "card" now.

What will be the occupation?
Firefighter? Lawyer? Some sort of volunteer? What job? PLEASE the hero has a place at college/university! |

Wonder if the series will be like Faiz or Blade? Is Gotchard gonna be like a TCG series - Yu-Gi-Oh! Style? |
Taro from Donbrothers was a package delivery person.
Cards will always be a popular thing and Yu Gi Oh is still in the top 10 anime in Japan after all this time. |

If Gotchard will be themed in a TCG, how would you imagine its "game"?
Like what traits in the cards?

Ya think they'll introduce a black actor/actress as one of the new main riders?
In Lupinranger vs Patranger, they introduced an African mentor. Sad that Ben/Lancer from Geats never had his rider form revealed. The same goes for a European actor/actress since John/Garun. |
I mean, potentially?
The VS Changers had hidden sounds for an unused Lupin Black, and some speculated that Hilltop would become a Pat White equivalent. And Ben seems to be popular even in Japan, so it's possible they might actually go so far as to make him a suit. As a main rider? Nawh. Those slots seem reserved for up and coming Japanese actors, but as a side character? I don't see why not. |

But anyway, about Gotchard if its gonna be like a TCG rider series. What'll it be like? What's its inspiration?
Or something original? Like how'd you picture the rules of that card game? |

P.S. And in spite of my predictions, Toei will decide to start next era with the first female main rider. |

Kamen rider is meant to bring in young boys so a female main char wouldn't do well |

We'll have to see how Cosmic Fury handles Amelia as the new red ranger. Even though she's likely still SIC to Zayto, it's a big step nonetheless that could potentially encourage Toei to follow if the risk pays off. I definitely think Sentai has more options than Rider to try something like this. |

I remember when Kinoshita suggested a female lead Rider for Revice he was immediately told no (and thus Jeanne was born).
We'll probably get a female Rider, I guess it's just a matter of how many we get from the start since most recent shows have been unloading Riders in the first quarter. |

If it’s a card game theme, can you all imagine the main rider’s rival rider like Seto Kaiba?
