So one tidbit that was mentioned in the Terebi-kun scans was that Pink is a genius when it comes to driving, and so currently my speculation is that Red is the mechanic of the group and Pink is their designated driver.
Now, Blue's occupation still seems unclear, but my primary guess is he could be the designer of the group like Naoki/Blue Racer but has the attitude of Touma aka Lupin Blue since it doesn't mention him being skilled in driving. Other than that, I was thinking maybe he joins the team while passing by and trying to rescue Red and Pink from the Hashiriyan attacking them, and he becomes part of the crew when he is chosen as a ranger because of his professionalism and he considers fighting the Hashiriyan a challenge.

Designer/builder/architect. Black and Orange could be "tuners" if you know that lingo.

If I had to guess, the Tuner type from Yugioh 5Ds is named after the same thing.

Is the thing behind BoonBlack and BoonOrange the team mecha by any chance? As in, their mecha will also have the same goofy wheel/tire head? lololololololol

Okay so this is the official poster it seems... So many things to unpack here. Oh and I was right, that wheel/tire head behind BoonBlack and BoonOrange was indeed the team mecha.

Another thing to point out: we can see the vehicles for all the main 5 colors in the team but there's the purple car vehicle in the background. Is that clues for a possible purple-colored sixth-ranger or not?

Both police cars belong to Black and the two contruction vehicles go to Orange, that's what was mentioned on the toy listings.

I think he's more of an analogue to Midorenger from Gorengers. When you decide to designate characters with different numbers of stripes, you need to be able to stop in time.

So, Boonboom Black is likely to be Gunpei 2.0.:lolol

Even by the already unpopular standards of the Boonboomger helmets, at least the rest of them have some kind of expression, like Battle Fever. Whereas Boon Orange's just doesn't draw my attention to any particular part of his waffle grill face, it all blends in to one for me. Similar problem with Leo Red, who always looks like Gosei Knight's side profile.

So the main form for Boonboomger's mecha is Attack 1-2-3 with Blue's and Pink's vehicles, People Saver with Black's and Koujigenbar with Orange's.

Same goes for Five Yellow, with the horizontal visor lines. However, with Boonboomger, the wheel spokes aren't even sequential. Red has 5, Blue has 3, Pink has 6 and Black has 8. I think they could have easily given Orange 4 or 7 spokes, but instead they gave him.... That. Seems like even Toei is aware of how bad he looks, since they put him all the way at the back of the poster.

Something about the Mecha looks very...anime to me, even by the usual Sentai Mecha standards.

I know it's a ways out before this Sentai even appears on screen, let alone teaming up with Riders, but I hope that once they are, Drive is involved.

Not judging by the TV Asahi image, but considering how Red is the hotblood, Blue is the cool guy, and Pink is the energetic one, I assume Orange will be the comic relief and oldest who speaks in a dialect (so Minoru/Green Racer 2.0) while Black will likely be a cross between Tokatti/ToQ2 and Sakuya/Patran 2.
