I like how the second rider is just a mix of white and normal milk chocolate. I wonder what that has to do with Gavv?s Chocodon form.

My guess is either it's going to be a Flying Falcon situation or they both have a Chocodan gochizou but Valen just likes using it as their default.

The teaser is cool and confirms the rumor that Shoma is an alien, as he tries to eat the towel. Regarding Valen, I don’t see either Chokodon or the previously often mentioned Galen in him. For him, it's more like Kamen Rider Drive with a chocolate shift car. Overall, I feel like the designers put all their creativity into the Chip Samurai and the Marshmallow Wrestler, and didn't have enough imagination for the basic rider shapes.

I'm leaning towards the second option, or even a variation on the chocolate gochizo theme. Simply because, since he is on the poster, he should appear in the very first episodes, and taking away a toy from the MC at the very beginning is somehow not very nice. And the comparison with Faiz is not the topic here, because Takumi initially stated that he did not need the belt.

Gavv uses the milk Chocodan, while Valen uses the white Chocodon. Both Gochizous can be seen in the poster. I hope dark gets some representation as well.

Valen doesn't have the belt organ or talons either, so I think he might be a human using an artificial Rider System, like the IXA to Gavv's Kiva. Regarding the design, I'll paraphrase what I said about Gavv, it's neither the best nor the worst of Reiwa. However, I do like the show's aesthetic more now that I understand some of the choices thematically.

Valen's name also contains a ヴ like Gavv, making him easier to distinguish from Balon, a fellow food-themed red Rider. I wonder if this will be consistent for Riders in this show, like how ド was consistent for Alchemy Riders.

Tbh, while I think Valen looks really cool I'm honestly not vibing with his changer like at all?

Maybe this is a me problem, but I feel like I just do not get what they're going for with it?

Like I get that it is gun and chocolate themed.... but like.... the chocolate detailing is barely there at all, and honestly outside of the handle it barely even it looks like a gun? It just kind of looks like randomly shaped plastic to me, and so much of it is just unpainted/uncoloured? It just kind or scans as noise to me

I'm genuinely curious is there something specific it's supposed to resemble? It has a lot of shaping that feels so intentional, but just doesn't resembled anything to me? I don't hate it, but i just kind of feel nothing about it... So, I feel like I really just don't get it lol
