I watched ep 01 of Blade and I like it so far. The first couple minutes were a little confusing, but once they left the cave and everything began getting explained a little, it was really good. I think I'm going to like this series.

Just finished Episode 18 of W. Definitely seeing why people consider this one of the best Kamen Rider series', though to be fair the only other one I've actually watched to completion is Fourze. It has a great blend of dark, dramatic moments and lighthearted, fun moments. The characters are great. Story so far seems pretty solid. Just a great show all around.

Finished eps. 29-32 of Ryuki. Well I certainly didn't expect this series to have some funny episodes but 29 and 30 certainly is. Yui was funny in 29 and when Shinji, Ren and Kitaoka worked together was something. But 30 takes the cake for me, Megumi's debut episode. From Goro and Megumi's showdown, to Megumi's "disease" and Kitaoka's silent henshin this episode was really funny. But 31-32 brought us back to the standard of the series.

I didn't really care for those episodes all that much. They felt really out of place (just like the Iron Chef Kabuto episodes at about the same point in the series). I get that they wanted to break up the dark and depressing storyline but it just felt so out of left field. /Rant

As for me I'm 3 episodes away from finishing Agito! I'm sad to see that Kino died as he was a pretty complex and interesting character. I do kind of feel that the way the ending is starting to shape up it might end up being a "where the heck did THAT come from?" moment. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Yeah, I admit I have a soft spot for those two episodes. Yeah they're out of place, but dammit if they're not a load of fun. It almost makes me wish Ryuki was a totally different show. Almost.

Up to Episode 20 of W. God damn is Accel badass. Though him turning into a bike was...well, silly.

The first 15 episodes of Blade aren't garbage. They just do nothing to initiate newcomers as to the rules, powers, or general information of the world. While they're not bad per se, they don't exactly have viewers dying to see the next episode.

I like it, since he's not really turning into a bike, it's just that his suit can take on a bike form, but he's still a person. (not disjointing) Until he starts getting fresh with a certain, well, you'll find out. I like that his suit is what transforms and his body stays realistic in bike mode, but that changes when he gets a new piece of gadgetry.

You talking about the Gunner A or when he attached to the jet piece from Double's bike?

It took me ages to merely tolerate him. Although I did like him after his more momentous character bits.

I do love his suit, just as it is. The bike motif is nice. I would have iked a differnt helment, though. The circle behind the visor makes him look cross-eyed to me, and the stylised "A" gives him big ol' jowels. Jowells? I've never had to spell that word before.

I may not love W as a series but Accel is an excellent 2nd rider. And that bike mode is totally boss. As is the episode where W rides him as a bike. Make all the jokes you want but that was just epic.

Was about to say. TheBee hardly qualifies as a secondary Rider to begin with. Besides, Kabuto is totally the worst secondary Rider, actually taking away spotlight from the main character.

I thought Gattack was the secondary Rider of Kabuto.

You'd think that. It's confusing that they named the series "Kabuto", but Gattack is a much better character to follow.

I said secondary rider or the rider who appears 2nd. TheBee literally is the second rider to appear in the series. And he's around for alot longer than Gattack even if Gattack is far better and the actual secondary rider. TheBee was fucking horrible no matter who used it though. Each user was worse with it than the last.

We can all agree that Kabuto should have actually been called the Gattack show. I love Tendou but that show was so not about him. Gattack is a far better character but he doesn't show up (in rider form at least) early enough :(

W is awesome. I don't even have to watch another KR series to know that. Accel is an okay secondary rider. Not horrible, not amazing.

I do like the look of Gattack, though. I feel like watching Kabuto next.

Guys, just because you don't like a series doesn't mean you have to devote yourself to hating everything about it.
Don't worry. It's okay to have a positive opinion about something you hate.

Accel was a well rounded and interesting character given great motivation and grew wonderfully as a character. You can hate Double all you want, but you just have to accept that Accel/Terui is a good character.

Exactly. I may not like the show but Accel is redeeming. As is Skull.

I thought it was good. When I saw Yuri alone I said to myself "not the Spider Fangire...Not the Spider Fangire. Then I saw the web *sigh* that tough guy who threw Otoya out of the cafe...I'm guessing he becomes the 1986 IXA. Speaking of which...Nago was so close to whipping out the IXA Belt! I was like "no way are they revealing IXA this early!" And they didn't. Ok...so does Toei assume that all perverted guys have wavy hair and wear glasses?

Yeah, no. I can't understand this at all. MAYBE I could agree that the beginning is a bit slow, but the show has so much humour and character that I can't believe anyone would find it actually boring.

I mean, Shotaro, man.

Are people who like W allowed to not love Accel and not think he's a good character, but merely an okay one?

I mean, I amire his determination, and how his revenge subplot is handled and resolved, and I like how devoted he is. But he's not very fun to watch and the way he says "Hen........ ....SHIN" is really annoying, especially later in the series where he doesn't have the time to give it much of a pause in battle, so he just sounds weird.

I actually just started Kabuto. I'll do Den-O after. I have a feeling based on this first ep I won't be as enamoured with Kabuto as W.

I really only based my statement on the basis that the ones who hate said series will push everything on the tracks, not because they disliked every aspect of the series (Which is highly unlikely), but because they want to hate it so much they refuse to believe they enjoyed any of it.

And before anyone points fingers and says Decade and Gokaiger at me, I've already voiced tons of positive opinions on both series.
