Well then, it is over. My journey through the Key/Kyoto Ani holy trinity which I started over half a year ago has finally come to an end. Through the hot summer of air, the harsh winter of Kanon, and finally the renewing spring of Clannad and the unrelenting rollar coaster of After Story. It's been fun, I laughed, I cried... and now I must sadly say goodbye.
It's been a long time coming, and now that the day has finally come that I can look back at it, I find myself sitting here wondering where to go next. Now, on a day like today, I can honestly say that these three great shows have definitely earned their reputation among the anime fandom which I love so much. And now... I must face an even bigger challenge... the biggest void of my life... :( |
It's always sad to see a show go, but as long as you remember those times, there's no such thing as a void.

In all seriousness I have always wanted to check them out, but I keep postponing it for whatever reason... |

*Edit: Or you meant right now? Maybe, sort of. |

Edit: Eh, I meant more in general. |
Watching more Fairy Tail. Erza is just awesome! Her being a redhead has nothing to do with it, she is just really great and Grey is even better when I found out his backstory!

That order in specific? |

I don't quite understand your question. :eyebrow |

Is there any plot connection or the order is simply for the production date? Btw, if you are looking for another anime to follow Clannad and co I'm a big fan of Bakemonogatari and it's sequels, pretty much my favorite anime. Give it a try if you haven't already. |

Hajime No Ippo 4.
Ippo's training begins! Meh, I prefer a good training montage, rather than a whole meandering episode that couldn't shut up about how amazing Ippo is, while admitting his only strength is Power and that he hasn't even fought a proper match yet. I tell you what though, this show has a rocking soundtrack. |
Just finished Bodacious Space Pirates and now starting We Without Wings.
|
Ippo 5.
That shower scene man. Anyway, this was a much better training episode, the rivalry between Miyata and Ippo is really well established here, and it makes you appreciate Miyata so much more as a character who for the first four weeks was just sort of a brooding bad boy with a bad haircut. Can't wait until their rematch next episode! |
Ippo 6.
Hell yeah, round two! And what an amazing second fight, it's so cool to see just how much Ippo has grown, I guess the slow pace of this show really did pay off in the end. Making every frame count, for the biggest investment with the audience. About the only thing I dislike about the visuals of this show is how everyone has the same face, the girl Ippo is crushing on just looked like a cross dressing Ippo and Ippo isn't a looker to start with. |
Sports Anime/Manga aren't my cup of tea :I

Ippo 7.
Round two continues! I must say, Miyata is fucking awesome. He chose a weaker style of boxing, to honour his Dad, and has trained it into a razor sharp deadly force. I don't really remember much about this show, honestly, but I hope they can keep doing stuff throughout this show like this. I mean it's just two guys punching each other, but they've given Miyata so much technique and tactics it's just amazing to watch. It's just a shame that Ippo's victory was achieved in such an underwhelming way, especially as the show almost forced us to root Miyata, despite Ippo being the underdog. |
ok after nearly a month i shall say i am now uptoday with one piece one of the or is the longest running anime to date so fare and i cought up with in the month and i also continued where the current episode i was on with the manga and i am now following that and i forgot why this was one of my fave anime as a kid due to i watched the german dub way before the 4kid dub came out so i instantly knew sanji was meant to be smoking a ciggerate and not sucking on a lolipop
|
I've become obsessed with Golden Time and only three episodes are out. Really strong Toradora vibes from this show, which makes sense considering it's the same writer and studio. I hope this show continues to exceed my expectations.

Why can't anime titles be honest about what the show is about?
Take Boku no Picu for instance, there ain't no boku in this picu. |
