Saw this pop up on the plamo times Facebook page. It's just a rumor, but, if it's true we should be seeing orange arms soon.

It was always 50/50 between between that and Kiva, so no great shock if true.

Wonder if they'll try a form change gimmick again.

I reckon they’ll do a form change gimmick of some sort, would certainly make repainting Gaim into Zangetsu easier. I’m more curious as to if they’ll try to make the armour form into the orange or if it’ll just have a basic mix and match function.

I'm sure the armour will be interchangeable but I doubt it will fold up. Too much size-changing of parts.

I get Drive's head stripe being a sticker, but the logo? That's a three-dimensional piece, making it a flat sticker is kind of lame.

The eyes are also recreated with clear plastic in front of the metallic orange, rather than clear orange over silver.
He’s got both of his swords (which can combine) as well as a removable lock seed (yay!).
Also it looks like his armour may actually be able to fold up into a fruit, at least partially.
And of course, the next one is confirmed to be Kiva.

Gaim looks good and proportions look just like the figuart version. How fitting that Kiva will be the last one and I hope they do him justice like the seihou did

The clear visor and semi-folding armour is almost certainly future-proofing for Arms Change capabilities.

Very excited. Plated orange is great to hear and even if the gold is not plated, I feel like painting gold is much easier than painting an accurate metallic orange.

I wonder how similar the engineering will be to the old Arms Change figures (will the eyes be attached to the helmet and slot in, or will you have to take apart some of the head).

Also yes. My regular paint supplier (Citadel) doesn?t do coloured metallics, so painting up golds and silvers is much easier.

As soon as I saw this post I immediately ordered new black and white Gundam markers. This is going to be a rough one.

Working on Drive right now. Most of the kit is really good, detailed and easy to correct with some paint. The biggest issues are in two spots: the white lines and a small part on the back. The lines are not molded well, so unless you want to break out a straight edge you might just want to use stickers. Luckily the stickers for the white lines are thicker and seem a little more durable. As for the back, there are two small parts that should be red on the black part. There are stickers, but it just blew my mind that the red wasn't an extension of the red front piece that it's connected to. It's not seen for the most part, but trying to color match the front was a pain when it felt like it could have been an easy fix on bandai's side. The kit was great, but I just kept thinking I'd rather pay an extra 5-10 bucks for some better molding/color separation.

This is how I've felt with just about every FRS kit besides, I dunno, Black? And before that, maybe Kuuga and Agito? (actually Blade was pretty damn good considering the suit design)

My Drive is finally on its way, so I'm interested to see how those white stripe stickers turn out. I'd like to paint the red for a better quality look so the mould lines might get covered up a bit.

Honestly the stripes don't bother me nearly as much as the head logo. Even if it wasn't a separate part, the fact that it's joined to the head stripes means unless you have precision cutting skills it's either painting both or neither, when I'd prefer to paint the logo and have the stripes as stickers. (again, if they're good)

This is the last of the Heisei 20, right? We've come so far.

Unfortunately he seems to have single elbows, but he does also have some fancy new hip joint and, for what is a rare occurence in this line, his gimmick pieces are removable and there's a hand for holding them.

Seems like the chest lines and even inside of the collar are colour-separated, as is most of the helmet.

Looks like the backs of the hands, much of Kivat, and the details on the kneepads and cuffs are going to need stickers/paint. (reasonable, YBH) What's less clear is how much colour separation is in the open leg.

Is that a generic outline, or is it based on a specific rider?

My guess is Kuuga Ultimate. The outline seems to match the upper part of his torso.

Nothing generic about that, it's Ultimate Kuuga. The lines even appear just like they did during his final transformation. I'm pumped as hell, the SS SHF is stupid expensive, but I loves me some Kuuga.

Guess this also answers the big question of "where to now that the main 20 are done?" Final forms, it seems.

Hmmm, wonder if I should get the Rising/Amazing kit now.

It would look nice next to Ultimate, and it's a cool design on its own. :rock:

Cheers folks, it’s been some years since I’ve seen Kuuga, and even then given its one episode appearance it wasn’t particularly memorable. All the same, might go for it given I didn’t spring for any of the other non-base Kuugas and it’s still a solid design.

I do hope that they’re not going for a full final form lineup now, as some more variety with secondary riders, final forms as well as Showa and Reiwa riders would be nice after a full five years of almost nothing but main Heisei Riders (and repaints thereof).

Although I wouldn’t mind Muteki Ex-Aid (perhaps I’d even spring for a shiny painted P Bandai one if it was offered, given the standard release would probably be mostly bare plastic).

All in due time hopefully. G3 kit with G3-X conversion parts and weapons would do gangbusters. :rock:
I could picture someone familiar with gunpla but not toku pick up something like that.

They posted two pics of Gaim in standing pose. They have some differences, and I assume the left is actually how the kit would look like straight built, aaand it looks pretty good

Yeah, that's pretty impressive.

Only real obvious downside is the huge stickers on the forearms and thighs, but short of pre-painting I can't imagine how those could've been done otherwise.

I'm excited, though I ordered mine from a domestic retailer (I gotta support local hobby stores, what few there are!) so I'll be waiting a bit longer.

While the final/ultimate Heisei Rider forms seem to be the next main batch of products in line, starting with Kuuga Ultimate, who here has a Showa Rider they would like to see get the FrS treatment? Personally I kind of want a Kamen Rider Stronger with interchangeable pieces for his Charge Up form.

I?m personally hoping they go for a bit more variety than sticking to just one theme now.

As for Showa Riders, I know they?ve done Shin 1 but I?d quite like a classic version.

Yeah, if they ever do this the G3 kit would be top on the list for me, and if they decide to release G3-X as well, Bandai probably would save money by reusing existing parts, particularly the undersuit parts. Heck, they could probably have a combo pack as web premium.

That blue suit looks great. Love the texture, and the orange plating looks real good.

Also while it seems to have a lot of stickers, most of them look like they'd be easy to replace with paint.

The metallic orange is 6/10 in my opinion. Decent effort, but patchy and looks especially thin on the chest and visor which are unfortunately the most prominent pieces. Seems to me that their plating technique generally struggles with curves and moulded details.

Other than that, it's one of the better releases I would say.
