So regarding Reika and Ryoga, given how devoted they are to Master Logos, I think that they were abandoned as children and he took them in. Making his inevitable betrayal of them even more predictable.

Same here. they make it seem like he's going to become a major character in the future, probably going to be the main villain if they take out Master Logos, similar to Gremlin in Wizard, or they'll have some other twist up their sleeve we're not yet aware about.

Espada and yuri are favorable , but it might be a two 3 pack if they skin combine daishinji with tortoise rider for ex aid 01 style team up.

In addition to Blades, I'd like to see Saikou get one, including flashbacks to his prodigious adventures as a swordsman 2000 years ago. Who wouldn't want to see that, right?

It'd be interesting that instead of a "new" form, we see how Saikou looked like in the past before becoming the sword itself. And then maybe we get a new form in the present.

A past Saikou would probably look like the form on the sword, so a recoloured Shadow with a new head.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking. A prequel form like Eternal Red Flare. Post above mine describes what the form might look like and I think it would use a new book in the style of Kin No Buki Gin No Buki, but with actual book content inside rather than Saikou's body.

New head would probably be just a repainted X-Swordman helmet, since that's essentially the same face.

I kinda wanna see one where Kurayami makes its own "Shadow", directing it with visions, and Kento has to use a new form as Espada to defeat it, which causes Jaou Dragon to become the books it got its power from, including three Alter Ride Books, which summon their respective Megid. Fortunately, the Wonder Ride Book facilitating Espada's new form is compatible with Kurayami as well. 2 new forms for the price of one.

So regarding Kento sealing the Seiken, wouldn’t destroying them be the better option? We know Slash will have his unsealed, whether by Kento himself or some other method. Though if any of the swords were to break, the obvious would be Saber’s. Good excuse for a new sword to facilitate the Final Form, to undo the damage Wizard did, but I kind of doubt it.

There's nothing in the text outright saying it, but I feel it's implicit they can't be broken? They're sacred holy swords, and the possibility of their breaking is never brought up. The closest you've got is Daishinji and his lineage being swordsmiths that work on them, but I imagine that's more along the lines of keeping the blades sharp.

The Seikens after Saikou and Kurayami were made by human hands. Daishinji's family being the ones who forged the three Swordriver Seikens, Rekka being the first. I imagine Suzune was the last.

We're also not sure what happens if you destroy a sword. But I imagine one can just pluck the "energy" the Seiken generates after its destroyed and use it for the ritual, since one doesn't really need the physical part of the sword for the ritual.

So I'm finally watching the series and I'm up to episode 9 and I gotta say. Everything feels so...rushed and random? Like it's constantly switching scenes with like no context. People and enemies suddenly appear and everything happens so fast. Compared to like Zio or Zero-one I can't really follow the story of this at all and each episode feels so disjointed if that makes any sense.

It definitely feels rush. You're not alone in feeling that way. Things do get better, but I wouldn't say monumentally so.

I certainly feel like Saber was a series that the writer(s) really wanted to get through the exposition to get to the meat of the show. Saber just has a ton of setup and characters and enemies to establish. Whether its too much is up to the viewer, but the general consensus is there's a lot going on.

Yes, that what a lot would say about Saber's first parts. Your enjoyment for the rest of the show depends on how much you can stomach all of it until the Q2 rider's appearance. His appearance and how the character dynamics are rearranged on that point on is them improving on the show.

Yeah, I could barely follow the first quarter either. It gets drastically better later on though, after episode 15. You just gotta power through that first bunch of really bad episodes to get to something surprisingly good

In terms of stuff I'd also blame, I'd probably put blame on Bandai being very pushy on just how much stuff was put into Quarter 1 this year. There was a lot... and I mean a lot of toys in Quarter 1 that had to be sold and thus weaved into the narrative at a rapid pace.

I'm a little thankful Saber's toyline seems to have done worse than previous years. Maybe there's a small chance we'll get one less driver in the next season

I guess 2020 wasn't exactly a time where people could think things through properly on designing stuff, I guess. The Swordriver's not exactly the nicest looking belt, and it didn't help a thousand or so WRBs were sold all in one quarter. Guess Bandai thought retrying what Zero-One did but all in one quarter was a good idea. It would've, I think, had they disregarded WRBs entirely and the collectables were hilariously enough the swords and emblems themselves.

Do we have sales numbers yet for Q2? I was thinking we were already in the doorway to Q3 and I just haven't realized it yet. But the sales rankings of the Sentai and even Precure toys beating Kamen Rider is one (maybe welcoming) surprise. That would be because those are the main things in their toylines -- the equivalent to the Swordriver. Naturally the main part of a new toyline is selling better than yet another powerup of a toyline that started last September

Edit: Screwed it up. Here's the two pics. The video with Tategami, Kenzan, Saikou, and Sabela seems to have the four go into a battle position together.

Nope. That pic of a supposed Ren Megid is fake and is actually from a Zenkaiger set.

Really? "For a bit" disturbs me. Like short? I was hoping a bit longer until he returns as Kenzan once again.

Plus I don't see Reika a heroine at all. I'd be happy if he got replaced as the new wielder of Noroshi.
