I just learned that this exists and is in fact real. A special golden version of the Attache Calibur made as a present for Bandai’s partners in Hong Kong, the image replacing Zero-One depicts their CEO.

I remember watching GaoGaiGar before watching toku. The reference flew over my head back then but I get it now.

There's also the previous entry in the brave series before gaogaigar- brave command dagwon- which is basically an animated sentai.... Heck they even did the same thing that toei later did with magired and magiyellow having similar designs with their own red and yellow..... Even down to the same themes of fire and lightning

Wow thank you for reminding of brave command dagwon. I just looked it up and recognize the mech from a toy a had as a child! I never knew they were one in the same!
