I’d buy certain bikes were they available — W, Build and especially Kuuga come to mind as ones that were important to the character and the series’ iconography. If a Trychaser or Beatchaser gets released that doesn’t cost me an arm I’m going for it.

But I hardly feel the need for most other bikes. I think it’s telling that the only bike on the reissue vote top 10 is himself a Rider.

So now that I finally watched Kamen Rider Saber, I fell in love with the show's aesthetics, and love Touma and Rintaro..... So RIP wallet.

I'm only at episode 4, did Saber use his bikes occassionally? Because if he does, and if they somehow brings back bikes, I want it. I want bikes, but even though thank goodness Build is one of the Kamen Riders who are actually Riders, his bike aren't that good looking.

As someone who’s been buying Figuarts for like what, 6 years now? Haven't gotten a single one. The bikes being nonexistent in most recent shows helps, but even before that - I mostly care about the Riders, not their rides.

That being said - there is one I always wanted to have and it might be coming soon: I want a new Battle Hopper! Not only because it's a great bike that got lots of screen time but also because it's Black’s sidekick, an actual small character he calls for when help is needed.

Auto-Vajin is one of the coolest bikes and like Battle Hopper is somewhat of its own character/helper.

The price of SHF rider bikes in recent years since Ex-aid was outrageous even if they included the main rider weapons. There's no reason in my opinion that the bike should cost that much more than the rider itself even if they're saying it allows the rider price to be cheaper.

I own the figuarts bikes of Ghost, Build and ZI-O because of the weapons which I feel enhances the figuarts even more and have Ghost's because his bike is so cheap. I do like that SHF chose to finally get away from using the bikes as the means to get a rider's weapons.

The thing with the price of the bikes is what's holding me back too. The moment I think "y'know what? I really WOULD like a Machine Builder and a Beatchaser!" I take a look and... oh boy.

You could tell bikes had problems moving for a while. Remember how the only way to get Garren right now is either loose if you're lucky or packed with his bike cause that was the only option available?

I like the two bikes I own (Kiva and Amazons).

I'd love a few others (Faiz, Kabuto, Den-O, Decade, Ex-Aid, Build) but the price, and the recent lack of use turns me off.

A Rider without a Bike(or Vehicle) is a Kamen WALKER.....I get all the bikes,kinda bummed Zero-One's hasn't been released. I prefer having a bike with corresponding Rider Figuarts than not,my toy set-up would feel incomplete. Dark Hopper,Ixalion,Machine Hoodie,Ridevendor,Blue Version(Super-1's other bike),all have Figuarts prototypes.

The bikes from Gaim can be found for pretty cheap on Mandarake and those are they only one's I have which I got when they first released cause it was the first Kamen Rider series I watched. I would like to pick up Zi-O's bikes since it also comes with weapons for Zi-O and Geiz but not really willing to shell out money at it's current price. I may be interested in Zero One's bike but I'd likely skip since I lack space.

I am definitely a fan of having vehicles that scale with SHFs but I also tend to prefer the aesthetics of bikes based on motorcycles than most dirt bikes which seems to be the norm now.

The DX versions of the bikes used to be great alternatives for bikes/vehicles. Ones that notably come to mind for me would be the Kabuto bikes, Toridevendor, Machine Massigler, Wizardragon, and Tridoron.

A shame they look kinda dumb now with the whole phone-bike gimmick thing.

I had the Meteorstar for a while (it came with Meteor in lieu of him having no gimmick) and it was also pretty neat! The Mach/Chaser bikes could of course also combine, and Lazer was fully transformable.

Oh yeah, the Lazer one too! I need to get that one. Get a Lazer on Lazer thing going on.

How does the DX versions scale with the SHF? RKFs are smaller right? Wouldn't the SHFs look a little large on the bikes?

Of course the bikes that are supposed to go on the RKFs would look a bit too big on SHF. Diago Speedy looks a bit big on Saber tho, so that might fit on the SHF.

The old gimmick toys are roughly the size of your normal 1/12 toy so the SHF could fit. TorideVendor might be a bit big tho.

Yeah I hate the transforming cellphone into a bike gimmick. I felt it worked for Build because of the theme and character Sento. KR Zero-One's bike imo should of been a giant transforming progrise key stored in the satelite Zea instead of a phone and with KR Saber a cellphone bike doesn't fit knight theme. I haven't watched Saber yet so I don't how modern the theme is or if it's all fantasy based.

Saber's bike turns into a book. The cellphone turns into a tricycle thing. Both don't fit a fantasy theme either way. At least Wizard's one combined with his dragon.

At the same time, it kinda works for me because the SoL feels less like a relic lost to the ancient past and more just an organisation that's been around for a while and has adapted to the times, so sure; why wouldn't they have trikes with gatling guns that turn into phones. A bit like Takeshi in Hibiki but, uh, slightly wilder

Taking this here because it'd be off-topic otherwise, but I actually hadn't heard anything about this. What's low-quality about it; is there something wrong with the plastic? I know it omits accessories but I hadn't heard of anything else.

And does this extend to any of the other Best Selection rereleases, like Build?

I figured just because I could, screw it; here's a comparison of SHF Meteor with FMCS Meteor & Meteorstar! The gimmick figure - on the left - is actually a little bigger than SHFs from those times, if you can believe it! As such the SHFs have absolutely no problem fitting on these bikes if you get em as a substitute.

Thanks for the comparisons guys, but I was curious as to how the DX bikes for the RKF scale with an SHF (e.g. DX Ride Striker with SHF Zi-O, DX Rise Hopper with SHF Zero-One and DX Fiago Speedy with SHF Saber) considering how smaller the RKFs are compared to previous budget figures.

The newer DX bikes are kind of small, even for RKFs. The recently released Gatrikephone is especially absurdly tiny.

I wouldn't actually display Figuarts on these.

Since he's getting re-issued (well, we technically don't know; but come on), I'm seriously considering getting SHF Evolt. I decided to just completely skip out on him the first time due to his rarity and my money at the time and I didn't need NEED him like I did Cross-Z... but now that there's a second chance at him I'm thinking about it all over again. I'd forgotten what a beautiful design Cobra truly was, and the full package is really good value for all the parts swapping included. I did eventually wanna get some villains and Evolt is definitely one of the best, not to mention from my second favourite series... hmhmmm. This might just have turned out great for me after all

Changing topics entirely, I feel the upcoming OOO Shauta SS got short changed in its extra accessories. The other prior combos all got great extra effect parts like interchangeable grasshopper legs, possessed purple eyed head & sword, and giant wings & talons. From what I read, Shauta only really gets wired eel whips.

Would have for sure thought it would include interchangeable squid legs for the finisher, but maybe it was too large/expensive ?

Could we expect SS Sagozo to maybe just have interchangeable gorilla gauntlets ?

I think the wiring alone would have been along the same budget there, judging by stuff like Eternal and Wizard. That's actually very good all things considered; and I imagine it would have been difficult fitting the octopus legs in the package. And it's a lot more than what Ratoratah got, honestly -- he just had the purple-eyed Taka head because there was nothing else he could come with. Gatakiriba also didn't have all the Kamakiri swords he should have (he had the handheld and stored versions, but was missing the 'active' mounted ones). Tajador was also a VERY special and big package that I imagine was only achieved because of its extreme popularity.

Sagohzo, yeah; doesn't really have anything else to come with so I'd imagine he'd just have detachable gauntlets. Unlike the OCC toy the legs don't exactly change shape for the final attack.

You make good points. Seeing Ratoratah packed with the extra head that didn't belong to that form made me think Tamashii was willing to go the extra mile with the accessories. Then seeing Tajador get all the effect parts that were previously an add-on set only reconfirmed that in my mind.

It was very encouraging -- Seihous it seems are trying to be more comprehensive these days; including everything you'd want in the one box. Except when they make you buy a Plat Form.

I think Plat Form is sold to allow you to display both forms at once? Which makes me question why they didn't just sell Sword and Gun Form separately, although I do suppose it's better off for those who only wish to make one purchase.

That's what I meant; that it forces you to get another figure purely to display Gun Form separately which ultimately works out more expensive. It's a stupid cashgrab for a line which is already difficult to get purchases from.

I don't really see it as a cash grab when we've gotten stuff like Kuuga Growing Form and Ryuuki Blank Form before in Figuarts.

Plat Form's still a legit form, even if it also serves a purpose if you want both Sword and Gun Form displayed. It's a completionist's form basically.

When does the tertiary rider open up for pre-orders usually? I'm feeling very wallet itchy and I don't know if I should suck it up and wait for Espada or grab ZI-Ohma.

Does it though? Didn't we come to the conclusion that that's not possible because the Sword/Gun Form set only includes one back armor piece? Or is there new info on Plat Form's accessories that I missed or don't remember?

I would expect more news on Saber stuff either at the end of this month or the next.
