Doing a repaint from red to blue wouldn't be tough... But the helmet would get me. Shaving down horns are one thing, but the dragon crest in the helmet would need to become a straight line and I don't know how you'd do that well.

As for Hibiki, I was originally thinking about getting two and repainting one as Hibiki Crimson, but I just became a stay-at-home dad so I'd have to convince my wife to get me a second... And I don't think that's going to happen.

Can someone help me figure this out? I can't put my finger on it, but something about Figure-Rise hands looks weak. Not structurally, I am more than aware that they can hold the weapons just fine, but everytime I look at the Figuarts' hands they seem more lifelike and 'strong' and I can actually think the Riders are firmly gripping their weapons but then I look at the Figure-Rise and, well, I just can't help but think they're not holding onto them as firmly.

Noticed this with FRS Build and FRS Double. The problem is that the SHF hands are molded in soft plastic and sculpted to move away a bit when the weapon is in, so it looks natural.

FRS hands are slightly modified fists with a hole in the center to accommodate the weapon, so the hands are kinda static when holding a weapon.

...If that makes sense.

And speaking of repaints, I'm waiting one someone to repaint the FRS Decade into Dark Decade, and Ryuki into Ryuga. Tho, that'd be pointless since Bandai is surely gonna make a Ryuga anyway.

One of the problems is that FRS weapon-holding hands are usually two pieces: the fingers and hand as one piece, and the thumb as a second piece. They plug together just fine, but they don't completely match the stability of a SHF hand. It can make the grip a little less tight than you'd see on a one-piece SHF hand.

This is why I don't display any of my FRS holding anything!

I pretty much constantly have my Den-O and Ex-Aid holding their weapons and it’s pretty much perfect... though I’m not so fond of Zi-O holding his.

I think some of it comes down to how you pose them too. The Ex-aid hammer looks a little wonky in some positions, but looks fine in others. Tried to snap a few quick pics of the ones I have displayed with weapons without knocking over anything.
