You mean, uhh, those Bandai Samurai Trooper figures right there? Unless, I suppose, you meant you want Figuarts versions on top of these, which isn't likely. The Armor Plus line covered all of the main heroes, two different versions of the Inferno armor, and Mukara from the OVA. I don't know how well the line did, but since it never covered Talpa or the Dark Warlords, it's probably done regardless. |

Oh good, it's not just me. I'm sure there had to be some when the only retail figure (Ryo) came out, but the one comparison I can find puts them at about the same size as Marvel Legends, so depending on pose they will stick out a little bit unless next to the oversized guys like Akaranger, Ultimate Kuuga or the Shocker Combatman.
There's a Shin right now with four days to go on eBay, but that will probably skyrocket. |

I've got it on watch anyway. I really hope to someday replace the old Playmates version I have- it may have been a good figure back in the day, but dear god does it need to be replaced before it disintegrates like all the others I had. 'Course granted that the series seems not all that popular or even remembered in its native land, any form of revival or anniversary outside of the Armor Plus figures is about as likely as a meteor of extremely rare metal landing on my lawn, but ain't that the way it goes? Ah well... |
I own all of them, well except I only have the 2nd versions of both of Ryo's armors. I'll get out black inferno tonight and take pictures. I don't think they are too tall, if they are it's from being armored. I feel like they are probably a bit tall.. but idk.. we'll know later.
As for line vitality.. black inferno came out this summer so it's not dead. This is how it goes. Random reveals.. and about 1 figure a year or two.. |

Of course, I haven't been as big into anime and manga as I used to be back then. |

Women are crafty that way. The ArmorPlus line I think is like the Saint Seiya EX size. I'm Thinking 1:10 scale, though I could be wrong. If Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors were to be done as Figuarts, the armor gimmick would be gone. And I think they'd be hell in articulation & paint, and still be profitable. But what a line of figures..... |

So according to MFC Sage is 6.24", so I'm guessing they all are. So definitely bigger, but I wouldn't consider them a different scale. Just taller because they're armored. Idk though, it depends how you want them to be in relation to the average figuart.
I consider them close enough. Oh yeah, toonami all the way right here. My collection is Ronin Warriors, DBZ, Sailor Moon, and G/Gundam Wing heavy. The majority of what I collect is because of my childhood t.v. shows. |

Vader looks pretty sweet! :D

I know i'm late to the party, but I too got Iron Mk.42 awhile ago.
And I'm surrpised by how much I like the figure. I agree that the sofa being mostly light hollow plastic is kinda dissapointing. |
As much as I'd love to have MK42 & his couch, and agree that it could've been better, I can't see what everyone expects from this couch. It's a cheap nice add-in. Anything better, it'd be a real mini-couch.

I freakin' love the couch, first thing I did with it:

I honestly didn't expect too much from the couch but I am quite satisfied with it to say the least.

nice pics!
Vader looks pretty good, though the head looks a bit off but I'm probably okay with it. My cousin told me to order one for him, and that's a pretty big deal, since he has trouble buying a $5 figure for himself (he doesn't like to spend money on himself). The stormtrooper helmet looks way too bell shaped for me. but the MAFEX body looks too squat, the Revoltech looks terrible. I kinda want to get the MAFEX and put its helmet on the Figuarts. But I don't want to buy the MAFEX. |

Stormtrooper I'm still iffy on... But in articulation alone it's blowing Hasbro's attempt out of the water even if the helmet doesn't feel right. |

Good one. |
Teehee. I currently have Revoltech War Machine and Mk. 42 helping Billy move out. First thing to go out, the sofa.

Pretty cool! I wish he came with a removable top hat, there's millions of uses for that.

I wonder if Tux will come with a black rose for when he's all evil and stuff?
|
I wish he would coming with Smoking Bomber hands.

Looks like SHF Yoshi could be next: http://importingmonsters.blogspot.co...confirmed.html
Take it with a grain of slat though. |

If it's legit then I'm very happy as I've been a big Yoshi fan since I was a kid. At least we could get more Mario characters like Peach, Wario and Boswer soon.
|
It is legit. I can confirm it's legitimacy, seeing as I'm the one who was tweeting the images out last night :lol
Bluefin posted a stop motion video of SHF Luigi and at the end it had that Yoshi teaser. Tamashii Nations took a jab at Bluefin for spoiling Yoshi's reveal early actually. My tweet, link to original video, screen cap below. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...537/hjoas8.png |
I'm surprised there's no death glaire face for Luigi.
I mean, they gave Vegeta an Over 9000 accessory…why not death glare face? |
I hope yoshi can carry Mario/luigi
Gigabeetle would go nuts with the kamen rider Mario tweets |
I honestly wonder how much articulation will be put into S.H. Figuarts Yoshi. I already have the World of Nintendo Yoshi and his articulation is basically his head, arms, and legs, and I can't see too much difference, but maybe they'll surprise me.
Though really the World of Nintendo Mario is almost exactly like S.H. Figuarts in poseability. The paint jobs are what really hurt it. |

Glad I passed on the World of Nintendo one now. :lol Yoshi I am definitely looking forward to. |
Oh I am SO glad I didn't waste $$ on the World of Nintendo one. Already made that mistake with my shitily made Bowser :(
|
It would be nice if we got Donkey Kong Country characters for the SHF line. King K. Rool could work as a Figuart Zero or a normal Figuart.
