Killing Joke behind scenes preview, gosh I can't wait. Mark really looks happy to finally get the role in the film he's been wanting to do.

Don't really understand the point of having Flash come back from it's hiatus just to put it on ANOTHER 2 week break...

**** YOU CW!!!
If it wasn't for the fact that this show ties directly together with Flash I would be calling it quits after this season. The episode two week's ago was down right terrible, but this episode was just insulting. This is nothing more than a stupid gimmick rather than being done to advanced the characters. Good god this was terrible. Seriously, this show just made my **** list. Legends: This episode started out so well and then it had to bring in the crappy romance between Atom and Hawkgirl. How about we get one episode that actually has these characters being super heroes instead of the Rejected Seven for once? And then we get Cold and Heatwave deciding to fight each other, but then it cuts to more forced romance we didn't need, and only shows us the tail end of their fight. WTF?! I really pray to the gods that they get Jonah Hex right next week because I will riot if they don't. |

Finally got around to watching Justice League VS Teen Titans the other day. I've been kinda meh on the whole Damian Wayne saga of DCAU movies, but I thought it was actually pretty good. My only complaint is how misleading the title is.
The titans and league fight each other for all of 2 minutes. They should've called it Teen Titans Origins or Teen Titans Trigon War or something along those lines...cause it's definietly a Titan movie more than anything else. |
The movie should have just been a Teen Titans movie without the JL to begin with. The only reason it has JL in the title, and they are featured in it, is because WB believes these movies won't sell without Batman and/or the JL in it. The only time Batman needed to be in here was to drop Damian off and then that was it.

I'm still not too fond of the budding relationship between Damien and Raven.

Oh god, if those two had a kid, he/she'd be unstoppable. |
I'll survive with that. I know they're trying their own continuity with these movies, rather than animating the comics. I just don't like Damien :lol
Anyway, there's something wrong with me. I just can't seem to get into Young Justice Season 2. Every time I've tried to watch it, I'm just left bored and uninterested. I hate significant time skips, and this is no exception. I'm watching it, and it's...Good, but I'm so uninterested and I'm not having fun like during season 1. |

Well he was raised by Ra's.
However, I don't like the fact that they had Talia drug and rape Bruce to get Damien. That is completely out of character for Talia. Anyway, iZombie tonight... SON OF A BITCH!!! I know I was looking forward to having one show done for the season, but COME ON!!! Why did it have to leave me so soon? That was down right awesome as ****!!! That is all I am going to say on the matter right now as to not give spoilers away. BTW, expect similar posts next Monday for Supergirl and Better Call Saul. :lol |
I enjoyed it, to an extent. It was getting a bit grating to watch when every character continually went on about how amazing Batman was in a completely serious manner.
"No duh, it's a Batman show!" Because that argument holds up for every other superhero show, too. |
While tonight's episode of Legends wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. It was certainly the best episode in week's and they didn't totally mess up Jonah Hex. They got his outfit right and the look for everything except his eyeball. The guy seems like he could be a great Jonah if they were to get writers that are competent. The only thing he didn't have right was the mannerisms and speech, but for what it was, he did a good job. Actually, this episode would have been fine had it just been the western stuff without the future medicine and battle with the hunters at the end.

I watched last week's Supergirl episode to get ready for tomorrow's finale and wow, damn, that was kind of intense. I love how Cat just walks into her office without noticing anything going on around her and how they made it seem like she was too oblivious to be controlled. That was great. The only thing I didn't like is how Superman is conveniently brain washed to. I would have rathered they just kept it as him being in space somewhere on a mission. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. I'm kind of expecting Alex to die as she raised a ton of red flags, but we'll see. Even if she does, it doesn't mean it will be permanent. This is the DC universe after all.

Man it wasn't enough that Better Call Saul ended its season tonight, but so did Supergirl. :-(
I'm not a fan of the whole Superman being unconscious thing, but overall, it was a pretty good finale. Max Lord had a lot of great moments and the final fight was pretty cool despite some bad CGI. I look forward to seeing what they do with the show in its next season because I'm sure it is going to be grand. I'm betting the ship is either Kara from another Earth or Superboy. |
One Spider-Man cast member wasnt enough. Willem Dafoe joins the cast of Justice League.

Wow, the music to tonight's Flash episode was down right incredible. It held so much atmosphere and was very creepy sounding. I loved it. I think this has by far the best music on the entire show.
While I liked how he was surprised he was only gone for a second, I do wish he had made mention about Supergirl's world to Cisco and gang. It was kind of disappointing he did not say a word. That aside, everything else was great and this may be the best episode of the series thus far. The backstory to Zoom was saddening and a great way to show what could have been had it not been for Joe and Iris. It is so strange to see this show continue to exceed our expectations and surprise us while Arrow seems to be degrading. Maybe these shows just aren't meant to be more than 3 seasons long. |
If Hunter Zolomon is the name of the Earth 1 and 2 versions, then does Jay Garrick even exist? I was thinking that that the man in the iron mask might be the real Jay Garrick.
|
Maybe this Earth 2 is actually Earth 3 before the Crime Syndicate came into power?
But yeah, the man in the iron mask is most likely Jay Garrick, but that doesn't mean he can't be the E2 version of Wally. It's hard to tell whether or not his hands are darker from his skin tone or just from being in prison for so long. |
Jay Garrick could be Henry Allen's counterpart whose 90s flash. Remember, Earth 2 Nora could've married someone different
|
So apparently a Superman prequel sgow called Krypton is in the works.

I'm still rolling my eyes because I was bored to tears with Smallville, but watching some Flash on Netflix is brightening things up a bit. But how would it work? |

Another excellent episode, although not as badass as last weeks. I am so glad they didn't just solve Barry's speed problem at the end of this episode. That was kind of cold to just kill off Frost like that though. The stuff that dealt with Wally was pretty nice to as it was great to see him decide to take a new outlook on life. I'm curious if creating a new particle accelerator is going to end up giving him and Jessie their speed powers too.
The music for Zoom remains awesome. I love it. Not sure who this week's Metahuman was supposed to be though, but it seemed kind of convenient that he reverted back to a child after getting really old. Next week is going to rock!! |
I just watched the last two episodes of Legends and man, they were bad, like really bad. Like written by a fifth grader bad. Where did my show that felt like a 60s Crisis crossover story go? I think I might just wait until the last three episodes have all aired before I even bother to watch them.
And did they really have to turn Atom into Giant Man and CGI the entire battle? Wouldn't it just have been more cost effective to just have him fight an actual guy in a suit and film it Ultraman style instead of using the CGI from a Ps3 game? |

Another look inside the mind of the man WB has trusted with the Justice League....

Why isn't an exec at WB reading that and going "Yeah...Let's just terminate that contract..."
Goddammit. |
I don't like Zack Snyder expect for like one or two movies of his. I still think the guy is bad at story telling. Watchmen was decent because the movie mainly copy and paste from the graphic novel.
|
I wasn't too much of a fan of Watchmen. It felt drawn out, the character interactions didn't feel very natural and events went by too quickly. It wasn't enjoyable and felt too much like a movie that wanted to be smart, but Snyder couldn't reign himself in so he put too much time on Rorschach's violence rather than the more plot important scenes.

Sex and violence are not meant to be the main draws to a Justice League movie. It's almost like WB wants this to fail. |

If I wanted to watch sex and violence, a superman movie would be the LAST place I'd go looking for it... |
Flash 5/3/16:So that's how Wally and Jessie get their powers.

I get that WB/DC loves Batman to death but not every hero and heroine benefits from getting a coat of grimdark. Light must balance out the darkness or you'll lost your audience, something I highly doubt they'll learn until bankruptcy is staring them blank in the face. |
The worst part is that they'll never have to worry. Even with such monumental drops like BvS's second weekend, they still made bank day one. It'll always be a huge profit, so they'll never have to remove the veil from their eyes.
