I prefer to see real suits than CGI instead.

I want zords/mecha that look less from the Michael Bay Transformers series and closer to their PR/Sentai counterpart.

So, what Sentai series do you guys think is going to be adapted into Power Rangers next after Beast Morphers is all said and done?

At least PR2017 used physical suits, they only had mocap parts to make the suits glow. As much as Marvel love protraying Iron Man as completely CGI, you can't deny that the more practical the suit is used the more realistic it'll look. Just look at Mark 6 and 42 and compare them to Mark 45 onwards

This. I know they had to redesign it since the T-rex is outdated, but at least make it look like Sentai. Thnakfully Bumblebee is a success and while I don't care about the G1 designs, it'll show that fans prefer accurate representations.

For all we know they won't even use the non-humanoid Kyuranger suits. Though 'Xenowing' and 'Steel' do give me hope...

I'd like to see a hovercraft/submarine-like zord with humanoid mode.

They could end up adapting Ryusoulger since Dinosaurs always sell with kids outside of Japan.

Of all the series not adapted so far, I do think Ryusoulger has the greatest chance of adaption. Kyuranger closely following.

What if a military PR season called supreme command ?

Just goes to show how forgettable Ninja Steel was. I made a joke about wanting a Ninninger adaptation on what Sentai should be adapted after Beast Morphers.

Ryusoulger is all but confirmed, but I'd rather they save it for the 30th anniversary season. We don't know if the season after Beast Morphers is still following the 2 season format, hopefully not since Nick's scheduling made me lose interest in Beast Morphers.

Speaking of which, why do anniversary season usually suck? Wild Force technically doesn't since it's a solid season while also having 2 best team ups of all time, but it's still considered one of the least favorite of the Saban era. Though this might be due to it coming after Time Force, plus In Space through Wild Force is the peak of Power Rangers when it comes to quality.

Using footage from what? None of the recent Sentai seasons have an aesthetic that would fit a military theme.

I could see them dropping the knight theming actually. Nothing in either the mech nor ranger designs says 'knight'; and it's mostly in their fighting and values that that comes through -- and given PR has recently been making a lot more original ranger fight footage...

Kyuranger is the space/constellations theme right? I could go for go that as PR.

Kyuranger would work well I think. Star Wars it up and sprinkle some nickelodeon humor and we got our season.

Ironically, Neo-Saban era is basically taking inspirations from sequel trilogy in the sense that they rehash MMPR over and over just like what the Sequel did with OT.

Take inspiration from in space. Theres alot of rangers so potential to use rangers from multiple worlds. Celebrate the past without being bound to it.

Sucks that Hasbro's Hub channel didn't last. With Power Rangers under their belt, it would've really given them an extra push.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but has anyone checked out BOOM's Power Rangers comics? I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just started reading the Go Go Power Rangers series, and it's actually really entertaining.

I dig the comics a fair bit. It's had its lows but it can reach some surprising highs and it's something I'm happy to follow on with issue by issue.

I prefer Go Go Power Rangers than the main book simply because Dan Mora did the art. And surprisingly even when the other artist took over the art still feels similar, which is what every comic should be.

I'd like to see a PR original season made by Netflix.

I have friends who would like that, but I dont think it'll happen.

Boom's doing pretty good with PR right now. Much as I like IDW, there's room in this world for a lot more than just a single good comic company.

Mora’s art is gorgeous, I really hope he comes back onto the series as the regular penciller again. But yeah, the current artist does a fantastic job too.

As for PR moving to IDW, apparently that company’s facing financial woes right now. Frankly I need IDW to figure out the new direction of the Transformers comics franchise before they get anything else.

I'm pretty sure comic companies have specific people working on specific comics.
Transformers being in a weird spot story wise wouldn't affect any current or future properties.
