How much do you all think Realizing Hopper will go for on the aftermarket? I feel like it'll go for a little less than Rising Hopper and I'm considering using it for my 01.

I expect the same. With a few exceptions, these exclusives rarely go for much, and I expect this one to be on the less desirable end.

I mention how the wait for Ixa's been a bit annoying and Tokullectibles sent the invoice for the rest of the payment for him. That timing couldn't have been better.

Feels like it'll stay around 3-4k yen at most. With it maybe going for 2.5k if box is slightly damaged.

Only exclusive that hasn't dropped in price and still hovers around 8500-10000 is the Build harzard form figuarts. Not even the Metal Build figuarts caused it to drop in price...for obvious reasons prob due to the heads and bottle you get with each one.

IDK the base form zero-one figuarts on Mandarake are starting to pop up now for between 5000-6000 yen...Idk if Realizing Hopper will cause them to drop in price or go for the same

Dark Kabuto, Joker, Sakurajima Ichigo, they all go for a decent amount now.

And Hazard Build used to go for around 16,000 before Metal Build, so he did help.

Idk, cuz I feel like once MCH drops and Zero Two follows, we might see a drop down the line. Somewhat like Build, but he got a reissue twice.

Plus, Zero-One is basically Reiwa's Kuuga so he might another reissue in the far future. Either they do a "best selection" for him, or some sort of "special coating" version. But I guess realizing already fills that role.

I saw Build Hazard around those prices well before Metal Build was announced and the ones you listed are Seihous which wasn't on my mind...I thought we were just going off of regular exclusives my bad....

Well I should say that Realizing isn't -quite- Tamashii exclusive -- it was a normal PB exclusive, just for a very very limited time.

I just got back into buying on Mandarake so I'm wasn't aware of his previous commanding prices

So, some dude living literally in the same village as mine is having a yard sale of sorts. I noticed two of those for sale was some SHFs. A Drive Type Special . for 60$ and a Drive Type Speed for 40$. They still got the box and stuff.

I only have 65$ on me right now. I like Type Special, but I also need a mainline Drive. Do I get special and wait for a model kit, or just grab Speed?

I'd say go for Type Special and wait for the eventual FRS kit of Type Speed.

Yeah, FRS Type: Speed is inevitable; and to boot it'll come with more stuff -- at the very least the sword, and I'm absolutely expecting Type: Flare parts.

If you're into FRSes and don't mind them over SHFs, I would wait. But I will say that 40$ is a very nice price for SHF Drive, and really not far off how much FRSes cost! If he's a fav of yours my advice is to pay the slightly higher price, and if not I'd say grab him and sell him to someone else who'd love a fairly cheap SHF Drive.

I guess. Though, the height gap might look janky.

Actually planning to get the FRS Decade and Joker around after I finish school, so I'd have time build them. So, I'm definitely into rider kits. This would've been an easy pick had Type Special not been there. Tho, this is probably just my "movie bias" talking.

The height is really only noticeable if you have him standing stock straight up next to other SHFs, if other FRS kits are anything to go by.

Does anyone know if the Hoppers have the same joint breaking issues that Kabuto, Gattack, and Dark Kabuto have?

Do they all have the same elbow type/design? SHF upgrade sells a replacement set

Didn't the Seihous of the Hopper bros come out much later after the other Kabuto seihous? I don't know if they have the same breakage issues like the others despite using the same joints

More attention being put towards secondary riders in the Seihou line is always a win but come on and confirm Dark Kiva or Emporer form already.

Same design, the SHF upgrades were why I was asking. Not sure if I need 2 or 4.

As far as I know, only Kabuto/Dark Kabuto are the reported ones breaking. Gattack being uncommon. Never heard anything about the Hell brothers.

In the end, I didn't get either Drive SHFs. I just paid 190$ for both Valkyrie and Thouser a while ago and felt a bit guilty.

Well, I didn't buy it for now. If the guy still has 'em in maybe two weeks time, I'll take another chance.

And if I don't get that chance, there's still always the model kit. I have my gloss coat in hand in case.

Dunno where you got Valkyrie and Thouser for $190 combined but that's a deal with how expensive the former's gotten on the aftermarket...

Man December and January's been good to me lately in terms of hole-filling. Outide of SS Ixa coming and Jin Burning Falcon due out this week, Amiami's second-hand section's been a treasure trove for me. Skydain and Groundain, Apollo Geist, Dark Drive and J all for pretty good prices and mint in box were listings I couldn't ignore. I'm keeping an eye out for Horobi or Valkyrie on there since shockingly the former did pop up on there but I missed him by moments since the listing was still there but the price was missing.

Thouser was my pre-order that finally shipped out. Valkyrie for 100$ total was the lucky find.

Aw nuts, I was packing my Zeronos up to sell and realized one of his shoulders is completely discolored. I'm used to seeing fading like this on metallic reds of that era, but haven't seen this before. That sucks.

What do you suspect caused it? Was it displayed under sunlight or a bright lamp?

Definitely never been displayed where direct sunlight could hit it. The lights in my office/toy room are pretty bright.. sure hope they aren't doing anything. So my hope is just natural fading with time, but that's still not great lol.

I wanted to ask if anyone owns the effect parts set that were made for the original Kamen Rider Wizard figuarts and if they have used them with Seihou Wizard?

Aren't they mostly static effects that you put next to Wizard? So, I assume the big hand parts set could do well next to the Seihou.

False. None of them are like that - all of them actually peg onto the figure in some way. The big hand effect is actually the most intrusive of them all because it requires you to remove the entire forearm of the original figure.

I just tried it, and all of the effects actually work fine except for the big hand. The only way the big hand would work is through forced perspective. However, in terms of functionality, it is in no way compatible with the renewal figure.

Well that sucks because I was hoping at least the big hand would work plus I didn't know how it connected to the original figuart

I just discovered Yahoo Japan Auctions, and does anybody have any experience or opinions they'd like to share with me? Japan's pretty close to Australia and shipping is affordable in comparison to the US so I'm a bit tempted to try my hand in getting deals from there if I could find one.

I guess they're something like Japan's ebay or something. Where Mandarake is one entity holding secondhand goods, Yahoo Auctions is more individualized.

Never tried it, but my cousin did. They used Zenmarket for it and it took a while to get to them, but according to him the service was good.
