it's the second coming of G Gundam and a love letter to Gundam and Gunpla.

I like Wing for what it is. plus, it helped put Gundam on the map for English speaking audiences. so you have to give it credit for that.

Give it another chance because Build Fighters has some really great action choreography in the first season.

and at least try to watch Try, because while it isn't as great as the first season, it still has a lot of good little things here and there that make it great.

But Gunpla has never been a major thing for me. I liked the old MSIA line, sure, but models was never a huge part of my life. Even my love of aircraft only OCCASIONALLY manifested as a model kit. I prefer things with low chances of breakage.

Not just the development, but this is the only Gundam show where the Gundam pilots are not controlled by the military and their Gundams are what they are supposed to be, being the ultimate weapons of mass destruction. They don't take orders from lowlife scummy military authority figures who don't give a crap about anyone but themselves (hell, in my view, the Duchy of Zeon WERE the good guys of the original series).

The soundtrack.

The animation is gorgeous and detailed. You can't take points away for stock footage on a Toku board. Toku lives on stock footage.

However, if you think Wing is the worst series, you clearly have not watched Reconquista G, SEED Destiny, X, , Age, or Victory.

Except Treize always was respectful. Wu Fei didn't make it him that way. You could argue that Wu Fei brought it out more but Treize was always like that even if he was on a bloodlust.

I call it confusing and unneeded. I'm fine with characters having MPD, but Une was just, no. It comes out of left field and the switches happen so randomly and suddenly that you never get use to her kinder side. She's portrayed for a majority of the show as being a war hungry villain. Yes MPD comes in random periods, but as I said the switch happens so bizarrely and never lasts for very long to get use to the other personality. She should have either just been one or the other or just have two people in Treize's corner be each.

She's still a brat though. She goes from one extreme to the other only to end up as being bland and unlikeable at the end.

Wing looked outdated when it aired, it only got worse with age. And that's something that goes for pretty much a lot of the main shows up until the 2000s (though then they went to generic).

I have seen X and it is a thousand times better. Characters that actually grow and develop and that one can care about. Mobile suits that while strong have a balance to them that makes the fights challenging and fun to watch. A glorious soundtrack, making Newtypes not dumb and confusing. Relationships handled like actual relationships. These and more make X a superior show to W in pretty much every way.

Unless War in the Pocket takes a complete dive into shit I highly doubt it.

I'm just sitting in my corner due to I like wing not for gundams bit characters have I seen other Gundam shows. Yes I have but none have never compared to me and wing. Is due to the fact wing was my first Gundam show probably but the fact only UC Gundam show are near the level to what I like to me show that wing is still so what alot people think is bad. I loved it and still do I have rewatched more times then any other Gundam show. We have have matter opinion o wing but some like it some hate it me i love it.
