Last year I moved from New York to Los Angeles and reading this makes me cry. I do not miss winter :lol

Finally someone who understands.

I respect your feelings and opinions, but I have to say something:
In winter, you can wear as many layers of clothes as you want, plus cozy fires and hot chocolate.

In summer, you can't just dress colder. At some point, it's either sweat or swim, and sometimes not even that will save you.

I think we can all agree that being warm is better than being cold. But I like getting to chose how warm I want to be.

Or maybe I do need to chill. I think I went overboard on this one...

My blood's too thick for warm climates.

I know that feeling all too well. My condolences, for what it's worth.

I hear this all the time, and in theory I agree. But I have had far more experiences of going outside with the wrong amount of layers in winter than I have in summer. And when that happens in winter, I go numb and then it hurts. In summer, I just sweat like crazy - still uncomfortable, but it won't give me frostbite.

That being said, I think I've experienced more extreme cold than extreme heat, meaning 1. I'm more familiar with what I can handle, and 2. I hate it more.

Alls I'm sayin' is that it's hot as hell around here ten months out of 12 and it's only gonna get hotter so I want to enjoy the snow before it all melts and we fry on this oversized meatball.
