The bikes were just too overpriced IMO even before they started making the weapons exclusive to them as a selling point. I own Ghost, Build, and Zi-O's bikes and if you take away the accessories from them then as a bare-boned release they should be priced no more than $30-35.

Even over $35 is pushing it but if they wanted to include some incentives then maybe stuff like a current Rider's gimmick like ridebooks, progrise keys or attache weapons in briefcase mode. I like the whole including weapons with other figures gimmicks like they did for Zero-one but keep it to regular releases and not exclusives.

I mean, I would collect the bikes if I thought for a second they'd ever get some semblance of priority.

Disappointing it's just moulded in grey plastic and left as is though. We get it, you don't like including weapons in the standard release main riders, but it's a tad disappointing.

I own the Kiva and Amazons bikes. I love them bith, but don't feel the need for any others.

A little silver goes a long way....

I'm really starting to believe this was some factory rush job. What with Chinese New Year and all... All product shots and even event displays all have silver and the red was much darker.

Altho, this'll most likely be corrected with Blades and he'll have silver on his Seiken. It'll mismatch it, but at least I get to work on only one sword.

How'd you get the silver on? Sharpie?

Not my pic. I prolly won't get my Saber till March or April. I still don't have my Ultra Z, after all.

Anyway, it's probably not sharpie since they're a bit more dull and would fade away too easily. You could probably get the same effect with a Gundam marker or some Tamiya silver.

God fucking forbid you ever let a Sharpie marker anywhere near an SH Figuarts lol or any kind of plastic hobby in general...good lord...

I dunno about that. I mean, yeah you shouldn't use Sharpie to paint over large surfaces or anything (as I have painfully learned) but I typically use them on my Gunpla for thrusters and small piping. They're not recommended for plastic but they have their uses!

Ideally a kit that has both the airbrush and the compressor for around 150, if that's the entry price.

I'd use it for painting up FRS kits, So-Do, SHF pieces, and 3D printed material. Still new to painting so I have a lot of research to do about types of paint and plastics

There's quite a bit of decent airbrush starter kits on Amazon that will hold you over for a very long time. You want a pump that can at least do 30-35 PSI.

To be honest, ever since I got the Gundam Marker Airbrush system, I've dramatically lowered the amount of traditional airbrushing that I do. Normal airbrushing is such a hassle, having to primer, clean gun, wait 24 hours, paint a single color, clean gun, wait 2 hours, spray another color, glean gun :cry repeat repeat. (also some paints are toxic and you need to wear a mask)

This is a tiresome process and I would never do it for small figures like SO-DO and Minipla. For those, I use the Gundam Marker Airbrush system and its so easy to switch colors and the paints dry in 15 mins or less.

You don't really need an advanced airbrush gun for model kits or anything you can take apart cleanly. Those expensive airbrushes are for fine detail work and advanced techniques like pre-shading, highlights, and weathering.

Honestly, I'm waiting for the tech in those handheld airbrushes to get better before I pick up one of those.

Actually, Ride Books in general are probably going to be incredible offensive with the SH Figuarts Saber line, given their entire motif is that they're openly displayed book pages...it's a shame.

Form looks good though. Nice and clean. Comes with a closed Dragonic Knight book too, which is nice to see. Was hoping for Crimson Dragon to see release, but alas it might not be on the cards.

Those three are my predicitions for the soul exclusive, minus Primitive Dragon sub form. It'll just be Primitive Dragon with a replaceable Lion Senki shoulder. This begs the question, though, would Bandai be willing to put on the decal on the shoulder since it's now a big and important detail of the suit, or will they chimp out and make it a blank black shoulder? I'm guessing they will since MCH's hopper blade also has the decal.
