You know, for a stream that was advertised with bringing you the latest Figuarts Saber news, there sure wasn't a whole lot of Saber reveals in it. Like... Buster, Kenzan, Slash? I felt like those would get shown for sure. Not solicited, but shown at least.

Oh well, not that I particularly care about Saber, I was quite happy that they showed stuff that didn't concern it to be honest. Orthoros Vulcan looks great, and the pre-order date for Dark Kiva makes me very happy.

This is what I wanna see someone try to do. I wanna see someone put on the RKF Arthur parts onto the SHF, would make for a pretty sweet simply harmless armor swap, I'd say.

Is this the RKF or SHF Zero-One? I reckon its RKF because of the size of the King of Arthur shoulder pad but I just want to confirm.

Now y'all know how I feel when I look at the shipping costs from USA to Australia. I had to give up the thought of purchasing third-party Transformers with my shrinking wallet.

It's not harmless at all, though. There is absolutely zero connection between RKF and SHF parts. Those 2 figure lines don't even use the same proportions. Even in the picture you posted, the RKF King Arthur parts are literally glued on with some adhesive.

Tokullectibles is def the better option for buying SHFUpgrade and Fullcart toy products once you factor in shipping or as others have said you're better off ordering more than one product to better justify the shipping.

Just a heads up folks, looks like they've delayed the Seihou Decade Complete release from March to May.

Hopefully, it's about them finally figuring out how to fix the elbows on the Decade mold. Never knew why this issue didn't occur with regular Decade, but then happened twice in a row with Diend and Neo Decade.

Man, they've just completely given up on beam effects, huh? Between that, the prices, the packaging of accessories with other figures and the increasing amount of PB exclusives I guess SHF Ultra has now gotten just as bad as SHF Rider. Great. At least they sometimes do a re-issue :/

Huh. I thought it was always just the main ultra as the retail, the rest being exclusive. Big shame on the lack of a beam effect, though. This being a P-Bandai would make one think they'd put some effort into it. 7.5k yen and only coming with the Z-Lance is damn pricy. Especially comparing other figuarts in the same price point.

Admittedly there isn't too much precedent for cocurrent series having more than that as they only started with Geed, and of course Ultraman very rarely dabbles in more than one Ultra per season; but there's still a few examples to point to -- R/B being the biggest, having not just Rosso and Blu but even their Wind and Ground forms respectively at retail. That's a whole four retail releases for the season! Geed also had base Zero and Belial at retail though for obvious reasons it's a bit hard to count those; they didn't even come out until after Rosso and Blu.

Looking beyond that though, Ultraman's SHF line had a really good track record of releasing a lot at mass retail. Orb Origin, Dan Moroboshi, a metric ton of Kaiju, A-type Ultraman... hell, every single SHF Ultraman release in 2016 was mass retail, and then only four in 2017 were exclusives; two of which were just special versions of retail figures! And beyond that, the releases tended to be really well priced and came with a very satisfying amount of accessories; including beam effects. It's just sad to see those positives completely stripped away now.

I wonder. What other suits could Bandai want to make that they're holding back on releasing Grand ZI-O. Outside of Tsukuyomi of course, since it's still a 50/50 if they'll do her or not. I'm guessing Complete 21 or Majesty.

Figma has had hands that are sculpted to have a sheath wedged into the hand and stay there with pure friction alone. I expect Bandai to the same when having Primitive hold Rekka by the blade.

Wish I had that luxury. Very few ppl out here locally trying to import P-Bandai SHFs, and once they're released it takes a couple of years for the resellers to match the aftermarket price.

Sorry to barge in, but I have a probably frequently asked question: where's the best place to buy Tamashii Web Exclusives? I use BigBadToyStore for most of my Figuarts buying, but those guys seem to jack up the price for those.

P.S. Does anyone know if Tamashii Nations is re-releasing Shinkocchou Seihou Ichigo, Nigo, Amazon or W CycloneJoker form?

It just seems Bandai lately likes holding back on main rider final forms for years and that's IF and when they release them. It took 3 yrs to release Muteki Ex-Aid and so far they still skipped Ghost Mugen despite showing a prototype only once along with Grand Zi-O. If Build Genius isn't confirmed AND released this year then I don't know what to think anymore....

Haven't gotten mine and I don't have any other Ultramen to compare, but I assume this is because they had to since Alpha Edge was a more armored look for an Ultra.

Depends on where you live. I get by having some resellers in my country open up reservations for certain P-Bandai stuff. Although, recently they don't seem to be stocking up on the latest ones, so I had to import Dragonic Knight myself, unfortunately. I think Zenmarket would be a good way to get some figures. Their fee is fixed iirc.

No answer to Tamashii Nations re-releasing those. I believe only Kabuto, Hibiki, and OOO had been reissued thus far. I do believe Nigo and/or Amazon are much easier to get on Mandarake or Yahoo auctions. Best try there.


Technically, it's somewhere around 1 and 1/2 or 2 years for Muteki since he only got revealed alongside Rabbit Tank Sparkling. I do believe they have plans to release the other final forms, it wouldn't make sense not to and Zero Two is a guaranteed release at some point.

The general rule floating around is that they're waiting to get out all the suits they can turn into SHFs and then tying the subline to a close with the final form. I can see SHFs of Blood, Killbus, Sin Specter, Tsukuyomi and Geiz Majesty released before we see Genius, Mugen and Grand.

I'm hoping Ichigou will see a re-release for the 50th anniversary, but they've never re-issued that stuff I'm afraid. Amazon is very easy to come by in my experience, though.

BBTS is pretty good for retail figures brought over by Bluefin (Bandai importer) but web exclusives are horribly marked up.

Try anime-export, okiniland, or hobby genki. Tokullectibles I feel can be hit or miss depending on how much they mark up, but they do provide free shipping ( or I guess the shipping cost is already included)

Definitely do your research to find the best value. I would personally say you should use Nippon-Yassan as your last resort. Zenmarket also has a tutorial on how to order P-Bandai through their site.

Personally I use Tokullectibles nowadays since their prices are fair enough with whatever mark-up they add. On-top of the options of either paying it off in full on-order, early bird prices cutting a couple of bucks off or a partial down-payment that will secure the item for a smaller price at first that you can pay off on-release. The only real downside is that they can sell out of their preorder slots really quick depending on the release, though sometimes they do re-open preorder windows like I've seen with SS Zeronos and Naki.

As for SS rereleases, they don't really do that for the line. I think the only time they did was for OOO?
