As my birthday gift to myself, I've started watching the real reason why I binged all five seasons of Symphogear in the first place: Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect (all I know is that it gets dark because Urobutcher) so I'm going in blind. Wish me luck.

I'll let you experience it first before I say anything. But I'd say out of Urobutcher's Anime works, this and Fate/Zero (for the most part) are his best (The Godzilla Trilogy is a subject all it's own, so I'll spare you on that front).
