I said most of it in the let's-see-some-cool-kamen-rider-stuff thread, but I gotta re-iterate it: as someone who's getting out of the SHF game, the Seihou OOO figures' combo changing is easily the most fun I've ever had with the entire line and it's just so utterly cool! Now it's not like we don't have form changing with other figures, sure; I won't deny the allure of Woz Ginga or Ultimate Aegis or Evol or especially Geiz Revive -- I haven't had them in hand myself, but I imagine they are very very good and fun.

But it is absolutely wild to me that you can take two or more high-end beautiful insane quality figures, rip them apart, and seamlessly create new high-end beautiful insane quality figures of some of the most obscure suits in existence. It's awesome and I had the biggest grin on my face creating Takajaba and Takatorador -- oh, sure, those are the only two I can do with Tatoba and Tajador; but it's still the most fantastic thing imaginable (and it may help that they're the best mismatches anyway)!

Waiting for the inevitable Puudol...

I imagine alot of the combos I plan to make will only end up confusing alot of you lol.

That said, where the HECK is my Sagozo!?

It is wild how much Sagohzo has gotten delayed. I imagine covid has something to do with it but I'm not sure how?? It's just confusing at this point

Clearly the delays mean that, true to it being the best Full Combo in OOO, Sagozo is going to have the best sculpt, the best paint applications, the best articulation, and a stunning array of accessories. Infact, the figure will come with accessories that many considered missing from other figures in the line, such as a Rider Kick effect part for Shauta, styled relaxed hands for Tatoba, and a Lionel Flasher effect part for Latoratah. Clearly this is the logical conclusion.

They holding the heavy forms back. Even Kuuga Titan isn't announced yet.

I'm currently content with my SHF collection but there are two I would add if/when they are released: Grand Zi-O and Buster. And maybe a SS Faiz.

7000 yen, huh. I guess I am waiting for Rampage Vulcan. I want the 02 vs. J.Vulcan display, but I'd rather spend that money on his final final form.

This form will probably be one of the easier forms to track down later on, I think.

I was a little conflicted because this is basically a fusion form of my two favourite 01 characters, but yeah, sticking with Rampage. At the very least the inclusion of the broken claw gives me hope for Rampage's wing...

Rampage is an easy pass for me, I cannot wait for Orthoros.

Just got back from visiting the Tamashii Nations Popup store in NYC. There was nothing there. Almost entirely filled with stuff you could get on Amazon for the same price.

Mostly DBZ, Gundam Universe, and Marvel. The only things toku were SIC Ghost, Ultraman Animation, and SHF MMPR White Ranger. The inside scoop I heard about SIC figures is that Bandai keeps giving them to Bluefin despite very little interest from consumers. I would have loved to see SIC Faiz or Ryuki.

I took some pics but there's nothing exciting. It's a single room they plan to create a virtual tour to put online later. They did have the upcoming Pac-Man and Pacific Rim: The Black figures on display. The store exclusive was the 2019 Clear Blue Godzilla monsterart.

Is Bandai trying to dump all the unsold SIC onto Bluefin or something haha. Honestly though, this was pretty much on par with the Bluefin booth at C2E2 last year: Gunpla, DBZ, couple Star Wars model kits, and I think SIC Fourze & Ghost

I recall feeling that same disappointment at the Bluefin booth from C2E2 2020. If you don't want DBZ figures or Gundam kits, don't bother stopping by. The only Rider merch that Bluefin ended up bringing to Chicago for that show were three Figure-Rise kits that came out a couple years prior.

It's sad how much Tamashii Nations stuff doesn't even get a chance to sell in America. Why not at least offer the P-Bandai Rider stuff and see if you get some orders in?

They've actually started doing just that very recently -- the two recent PB SO-DO Gaim sets, as well as all the Zi-O vs. Decade stuff (including very popular things like the Neo Decadriver) are being made available on PB USA.

That's true (and I even ordered the Gaim sets! I'm helping!), but it's bonkers that they're still so reluctant to bring over the Rider Figuarts, of which a) there are so goddamn many being released by Bandai, and b) they don't seem to mind offering Figuarts for other brands.

I was ready to buy some Kamen Rider Figuarts to show some support! Had my fingers crossed for SHF Saber.

Also SO-DO figures are classified as candy toys (red Bandai logo) which has separate metrics from Bandai Hobby, though I don't know what the P-Bandai SO-DO are classified as.

There were a lot of Star Wars Meisho Movie Realization figures. I think Bandai is only really confident in selling franchises with Western presence. I don't blame them. DBZ, Gundam, and Marvel and Star Wars are super safe properties.

Yeah I'm not surprised at what as offered there. You're not gonna see much toku stuff since it's a pop-up shop in the middle of NYC where pop culture only reaches as far as the properties you'd see there.

Based on some pics I saw, I'd probably go there and see what the prices were on some aura effects, DBZ stuff and Ultraman anime stuff.

Something I'm really upset with Saber right now is just how good the suit designs are. Like, dangit Bandai I don't have that much money on me!

I guess my priorities right now are SHF Primitive Dragon and/or Elemental Primitive Dragon which I'm very sure will get releases.

I can relate, I feel that way with Zero-One. Thankfully Saber balances that out quite nicely as I have no interest in buying any of its Figuarts releases.

He'll happen. It'll just be a while. They prolly just wanted to put out the most Swordriver-esque molds they can before getting to the all newer molds.

Saber's suit designs are balanced for me by not caring about the show at all.

I'll take Primitive, Buster, and Falchion and move on by.

I was fine with just getting Saber and Blades base form and skipping everything else, until I saw the scans for Dragonic Knight and Lion Daisenki haha. But looks like those forms are quickly getting phased out. Daisenki has only had about 2 appearances?

May or may not go back and get Dragonic after it releases. Shouldn't be too hard to find based on the listings for the likes of Zi-O II and Assault

I kind of forgot about Slash but that's another one I'd like to see, simply because his candy-themed suit is so cool looking.

Also, Daishinji is one of the very few characters from Saber I actually genuinely enjoy.

There's always BBTS! They sell retail figures at base price, and are typically much easier to go through than this hell. I'd wait on their listing before resigning yourself

I live in South-east asia so I don't think that's a viable choice. We have our equivalent of Blue Fin here, it's the same as doing it on Amiami and stuff but doing it on July with lesser stocks

May be a stretch, you don't have any of those Facebook groups or pages that are basically resellers? They should open up on SS Tiga sometime soon. Still waiting on mine.

I used to order at those store in the past. But nowadays due to stock shortage, they're struggling to find the product and in the end I got the figure 2 months after the release with a bit higher price.

I can't blame them, it's Bandai fault rather than the shop incompetence

I still used them for PB tho.
