Well the thing with Beerus from the beginning always was that he isnt evil. He is the God of Destruction. Thats what he exists for and he has to do it no matter what.

The only thing Goku did was as you mentioned give him enough amusement to not destroy the earth...for now. He will eventually. He has to.

Just got back from the Resurrection F Premiere and man was that fun. I'm still a bit disheartened by Toriyama retconning the movies out for the elongated version but wow this was a good one.

The opening bit for Frieza was magnificent, won't spoil what it was but DEFINITELY stay after the credits to see that same thing come back. Marvel's post credit game has nothing on Resurrection F :lol

Overall the plot was quick where it needed to be, it focused on duller moments when needed to break up the action, and wow oh wow the action was magnificent this time. Whis & Beerus were on point as was Frieza. It was good to see him back if only for this one time.

I definitely found this to be a much better film that Battle of the Gods, the plot felt a lot less contrived and forced frankly.

So there is actual plot? I was worried it was just going to be non stop action.

Like 75% of the movie is action scenes, although the slow scenes we DO get are pretty fun, like Jaco scenes. I like Jaco, i'm glad he's gonna be in Super. :lol

Again there's more by comparison to BOG, which may not seem like much, but it's a more substantial movie with some solid exposition. The action is just top notch this time though. The second stringers even get in on the action in a good way.
Jaco was pretty damn fun, still really wish they'd adapt that manga into an OVA.

Personally I'd rather have something new rather than a drawn out rehash of the movies.

I hope the retelling of BOG in Super won't take too long. I hope they wrap it up by episode 8 at least. I do admit that Super is getting kinda boring. I do look forward on how they will retell ROF since they can show us on how Vegeta becomes a SSjG and how Freeza gets stronger.

I also do plan on seeing ROF later tonight in theaters at 7:00 PM with 10 other friends of mine.

I'm gonna be that guy but from what I've read so far GT is better than this crap.

It was bad but at-least they did something new from the get go.

Still too early to say that Super is better or worst then GT. GT was pretty boring to me until Bebi show up. GT jump the shark for me when they did the whole Super 17 saga. The Shadow Dragon saga was somewhat decent in my opinion.

I still do look forward on what Toriyama has in plan with Universe 6 an the other universes.

Agree. Its to early to say super worest then GT cause we are only 4 episode one and it ment to be 100 episode long so it might get better after the two retellings.
