Finished The Last of Us Remaster. 9.5/10.

Ah... Had a (mostly) relaxing afternoon getting back to one of my favorites: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Never got around to play the DLC The Da Vinci Disappearance until now.

It... Really didn't feel like it added squat to the story, but hey, it was still a good excuse to play one of my favorite games.

Just beat the second part of the second case of Ace Attorney 3, i love the fakeout this part of the game gives. :D

Persona 3 FES

This tired system is bullshit. I hate games that limit your ability to play certain sections of them. But considering the story in this game sounds really intriguing and combat is good, I'll overlook it.

I like that the exploration of Tartarus happens during the night, it leaves the day free for doing social link stuff or raising your states. It feels like there's less to do afterschool that way.

Just unlocked all of the MK8 characters.

It becomes less of an issue as you advance in the game.

I still love Persona 4 don't get me wrong, but it just feels like the stakes are much higher in 3. The story seems to move at a quicker pace too.

Wait...when I die, I respawn at the last save instead of in the dungeon. The fuck?

I think Persona 3 is playing hard to get. well, I guess I'm gonna have to work hard in exchange. *Cracks knuckles*

Soooo....Why is Persona so damn popular on here?

Also, I got my first married couple on Tomodachi Life: Garret Chancellor and Michelle Blaise.

Because japanese stuff and videogames appeal to us. And Persona games are good games that are Japanesy. So it makes sense.

Plus, a lot of us are playing the games at the same time. Just ask Matrixbeast lol.

But why exactly is it Persona and not .hack or something? Is Persona the dating sim/fighting game/visual novel I'm assuming it to be?

Persona does have social sim elelments, the player chooses the protagonist friendships and is up to him to see em evolve.
So in a way, the level of inmersion and the appreciation for the characters is larger than in most RPGs.

And the fighting system is also tons of fun.

The main Persona games are turnbased JRPGS. Mostly sim/visual novel games. I guess the reason why they're popular here is that they're different from other games. It makes story progression the gameplay itself with the social links and whatnot.

Been asking myself that a lot lately... I've just never been interested. *shrug*

So... I've never played a Shin Negami Tensai or Persona game. Ever.

That's ok, most Atlus games are kinda niche anyways.

If you like JRPGs, you should. Persona 3 and 4 are available right now on PSN so its not like you have to track down a copy anymore.

I like my stuff physical for me personally... which is why I didn't buy P4 off the store right when I got my Vita, P3 is a different case since it's a old PSP port.

Dragon Age Origins and Fallout:New Vegas. Any long games I have till Destiny comes out.

Made it to the last trial of case two of Ace attorney 3.

I beat the second case of trials and tribulations and i'm going to start the third case later.
I freaking love the villain in this case, he's off the top of my head the only likeable villain in the series.

Today in "ET Revisits Old Games," I finally got the Original Gamer Achievement in Assassin's Creed 3. o____o

And downloaded some of the DLC for the original Force Unleashed.

I'm about halfway through the third case of Trials and tribulations.

Also, I had my first taking out Elizabeth event. Which is like when I did that Marie except replace all of the cuteness and angst with creepy. Seriously, Elizabeth is fucking creepy.

Your playing on the PS3 port from the PSN store right? How is it? Is it smooth?

Its smooth. But its annoying having to set the game to full screen again every time I boot up 3 FES

Ah... I see... I might just end up buying FES and the portable version for the vita.

Why the hell couldn't they combine the good stuff from both versions into a Vita definitve edition of 3 rather then having it split up?

To lazy to make an official Persona 3 Vita version? I wouldn't mind a remaster of P3 for the Vita akin to P4 Golden.
