I see no reason to buy a gimmick figure if the gimmick isn't worth using.

Ehhh, I don't get what people are fussing about. Keramon looks fine, and Bandai did a great job of going from A to B considering how little either design has in common. The only place it looks a little weird (other than being covered in hinges of course) is the "legs", and I can't really think of a way of doing it other than clumping all the tentacles together.

But then I'm not gonna buy it because I sold all my Digimon figures earlier this year, so whatever :lol

Are there any other articulated Diaboromon figures? Because if not, I'm still grabbing it.

Good question, there certainly aren't any from Tamashii, the last one they did was this Figuarts ZERO statue.

Eh it's not as bad as War Greymon and Angemon having their rookie forms head on their back.

Too be fair it is Keramon the digimon whose main body is just a bunch of tentacles. So they did the best that they could do for a digivolving figure and it looks nice for it. I do wish I had the kind of money where I could buy this with ease but sadly I don't. :(

And it would have a soundtrack from Blink-182, Creed, Disturbed and Linkin Park :P.

I doubt Linkin Park due to the current situation with them so maybe it will be Nickelback.

Linkin Park was popular with kids in the early 2000's which is why I added them. I was listing them down bands if Saban did a Digimon Movie 2 back in late 2001 or early 2002 by editing two Digimon Tamer movies and Revenge of Diaboromon into one movie. Seeing how the first Digimon movie had a bunch of late 90's and early 2000's music in it.

We never got a second Digimon movie in theaters in the early 2000's due to the first one not reaching the level of box office success as Fox and Saban hope for. They thought they would reach the level of Pokemon: The First Movie with box office money.

Didnt hate it considering we had people digimon before the show. Overall I was just "huh, so that's a thing" and I liked how they were positioned as direct opposites of the heroes.

So a few questions here.

Has Saban adapted the third act of Xros Wars/Fusion yet? I heard a rumor that it was suppose to start airing on Nicktoons back in September, but I cannot find any source to confirm this.

Has Saban lost the rights to Digimon? If the third act of Xros Wars has yet to be adapted, this would explain why. I have my suspicions due to the fact that Saban has no involvement in the dubbing of Digimon Adventure Tri.

If Saban has lost the rights to Digimon, will Fusion get a full dub as well as Applimon, and who will dub it?

Also where can I find the sub versions of all Digimon seasons? Netflix and Hulu use to have them but now Hulu only has the English dubs by Saban and Disney, save Savers/Data Squad. Crunchyroll seems to only have the dubs as well, and Funimation, I believe, only has subs of Adventure 1 & 2, and Tamers.

KissAnime seems to have all the subs.

I'm not a huge fan of the backpack being held in place solely by the tightness of the joints, that is bound to wear out over time.

Looking at this figure I kinda want to see a figure-rise model kit lineup of Champion, Ultimate, and Mega digimons. I would not mind buying a model kit of Greymon or Paildramon.

So they've finally shown the Dorumon mode of Digivolving Spirits Alphamon... and it's adorable. The proportions are wonky and the tail is just a giant tube, but... I really like this. I don't quite know why myself.

Despite our want/need for damn near perfection in our figures, we're always willing to take what we get so long as it's adorable and within reason. But mainly adorable. Lol!

So they crammed Alphamon into a chibi Dorumon and for some reason made Dorumon even cuter than before, I am happy with this. Now what will be the size of Alphamon and how does it transform?

Also the fusion between Ophanimon Falldown Mode and Raguelmon from Tri has been named Ordinemon

These Digivolving Spirits really do keep looking like fun toys. Just wish I had the budget for them.

Next up appears to be Dukemon/Guilmon and Tentomon/Megakabuterimon.

I never thought it would happen. I though I'd have to suffer over a wave of 02 figures and MeiCrackmon before Dukemon would even be a possibility.

Oooh, that's pretty cool. It doesn't do anything overly spectacular, but I'm really liking it. Tentomon is a personal favorite of mine, too~

It might work out better than any other Digimon they've done so far. Colors are pretty much the same in both modes, they both share a shell on their backs that can hide any kibble and it doesn't look like much detail has to be lost because of the gimmick.

We only saw Tentomon and this rough prototype, but if they play their cards right the only thing I can see being inaccurate (aside from hinges and swivels of course) is that MegaKabuterion will have Tentomon's shell. Which is nowhere near as obvious as WarGreymon having Agumon's split skull for wings or how Alphamon, Angewomon and most likely Dukemon will wear their Rookie-forms as capes :lol

I don't know man, they all look excellent but for some reason, Tentomon has my attention now. I'm rather excited to see how the MegaKabuterimon-mode turns out.

Also, I rewatched the MegaKabuterimon episode yesterday as Amazon has Digimon back in their streaming catalog, and oh man there was a lot of poop in that episode.

I can now kind of understand why a parent back in the day would be concerned with what their kids are watching when they catch this particular episode.

Then again it was a different time back then. They could show Ranma 1/2 nudeness in their kids-cartoon blocks, that would never fly today.
