I'm sitting here while we're talking about this, trying to remember why I liked Decade. I can't remember why. Aside from liking the suit, and the concept of becoming past Riders.. I can't think of a reason why. Tsukasa has good points, but more bad ones. DiEnd.. Well, Taisen ruined him for me to the point I can't stand to look at him. Then you have his final attack being him turnong Riders into weapons..

There is nothing redeeming about the characters, the story arcs were cliche, and the action scenes outside of the 2 or 3 memorable ones were nothing special!

I think I went over this before, but I just find it really dull and bland. The shoulders have a really shabby look to them, the head looks weird (although there's not much you can do with the Spade motif there), and the colors are boring to me. I like Garren and Chalice a lot more, but then Leangle, the Jack Forms, Wild Chalice and King Form brought out a lot more of that dull gold that I so detest.

I loved Blade's designs for much of the same reasons you dislike it. I found it charmingly basic, not being as cluttered as the likes of OOO or Fourze.
As for Leangle and the upgrades, I personally loved them. The gold wasn't blindingly bright, and very pleasant to the eye in both color choice and general design.

I guess so. I like The Animated Series' oath better.

Granted I haven't watched Blade yet, but someone on here once pointed out he looks like a Metapod. That's all I see in the suit now :lol

I personally dig Blade's design. I was too big on it before I watched the series but I quickly grew to like it. Same with Garren, and Chalice was just awesome from the start. I also really don't see what's slow about Blade. Maybe, as I've said before, it's because I watched Faiz last, which if it went any slower it would be going backwards..

As for the Decade talk, I still think it's entertaining on a 2 episode basis. It just fails as a complete story.

Episode 33 of Ryuki. Megumi is trying to find out Shinji's secret, Reiko is starting to suspect something, and Kanzaki is starting to pressure the Riders to fight.

Finished Agito last night! Overall it was a really good series and I liked it way more than I liked Kuuga (though Kuuga is still good IMO). I just liked the characters, the mystery, the suit designs and story a lot more than Kuuga. I do have a few nitpicks, however.

First, the sudden addition of the two female characters (Scorpion and Kana) was entirely pointless. They killed one off (once again confirming my suspicion that Gills life just completely sucks) and the other one just sort of disappeared after her attempted suicide. Completely needless characters IMO.

Second, what's with earlier Hesei era series not knowing how to conclusively finish off the main villain? Kuuga just implies the main villain was defeated and Agito blows the main villain up but then he shows up again (I guess as a spirit?). At least Ryuki had a fairly conclusive ending. I have to say that the newer Hesei era series (W, OOO, Fourze) get at least one thing right: they have very conclusive and final feeling endings. /RANT

Overall I'd really recommend Agito as the mystery is intriguing, the fights are great, and (unlike Kuuga) the mysteries are nearly completely resolved.

Kabuto is boring me, and I can't find the rest subbed in English, so I think I'm either gonna do Den-o or Kuuga instead.

I'll do Den-O, and if I don't like it, I'll try Kuuga.

EDIT: Oh, apparently there is more of it dubbed in English. I'll give it until Gattack shows up but I just find it so slow and... unrewarding. Nothing happens, really. The enemies are dumb and uninteresting, "Cock up" is half cool half annoying, and aside from Gary every character can go jump in a trash bin for all I care.

Bummer. I really enjoyed Kabuto.
Den-O is the slapstick comedy of KR, just a quick heads up.

Like I said, now that I've found the rest in English I'm gonna keep going. As long as I cna watch it with ease it's no skin off of my tail. It's just... does something happen any time soon?

If you're bored with Kabuto,go Den-O.It's pretty much the complete opposite of it.

Like I said, I consider Gattack to be the shining star of Kabuto. If you make it to him and still don't find it interesting, then you can feel free to just drop it.

The last few episodes always feel a little bit different to me, like they're more of an epilogue to the main story. The two girls do really feel shoehorned in, but I like the biker chick so much that I don't really care. It's just a bummer that she had to be Gills-ed.

As for the final villain surviving, well, he's god. Agito is pretty damn awesome, but he's not strong enough to kill god. All he does is basically prove the strength of the human spirit in Rider Kick form and convince the Overlord to just hang back and watch how things go on their own.

The Bee is a pretty cool looking suit.

Shame all I ever hear about him is how much he sucks.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Overall I really liked the show. It was dark but had it's humorous moments. I really liked Shouichi as our main hero. He felt more realistic than Godai did in Kuuga.

Can somebody tell me what episode Gattack actually shows up? Right now The Bee and Kabuto are fighting for reasons I think the show forgot to tell me. I'm sure this is supposed to be all epic, but since neither characters are interesting or likable ("I am the sun" okay this is getting ridiculous. I thought Kabuto was bad. Although a gaint, hostile ball of noxious burning gas isn't a far off comparrison)

I'm just kinda skimming through eps at this point. I think this show forgot to have a plot. Nothing happens for any logical reason. Or any illogical reason. The worms are terrible villains and Zect are a terrible organization. The Bee comes out of nowhere and so far has fought two monsters in very unimpressive ways and got in a boring fight with Kabuto. And away from the monster fighting the people are just a chore to tolerate. Almost everyone talks in a droning monotone and there's not a bit of genuine character or life among them all. The only good thing about this show is the suits and Gary, but he's not even that interesting, just the most interesting.

I'm really unsurprised an "Anti-Kabuto" army exists.

I just don't see what's to like about this show. It's not like it's so bad it's just... there's nothing to it. I'm nine episodes in and I can't think of a single memorable moment so far.

EDIT: Den-o, however, has me interested and I'm not even ten minutes in. This poor guy has the worst luck ever.

If you like more lighthearted stuff (it takes a serious turn later on) and time travel, you'll like Den-O. The characters just have a lot of energy (something that Kabuto is lacking it seems). It is infamous for being the craziest Kamen Rider series, but it didn't seem that crazy to me, I think it was just because I was expecting it to be crazier than it wound up actually being :lol) the suit designs aren't the best, but a lot of them have grown on me (sword form and Zeronos in particular)

It is, but like I said the characters, especially the main Imagin, are very energetic and bring a lot of life to the show. If you can enjoy it for the craziness, and if you like more lighthearted stoytelling like I do, you'll really enjoy it I'm sure. The only thing I hated about the series? The final villian...I just wanted to punch that little snot everytime he was on screen.

Oh yeah. Den-O's final villain is just pure crap. I try to block him out of my head, but yeah. :lol

Kabuto (the show) is charming because it's set up as though Kagami will be the main character but Tendou is always stealing the spotlight. Most of the plot in various arcs revolves around Kagami himself. So it's a very different take on the typical rider show to have the asshole main rider be the one you care least about because he has no real characterization. The designs are memorable too.

Gattack shows up in the early 20's if I'm not mistaken. His addition greatly helps the show. The shows biggest problem is that it relies heavily on implied plot threads which aren't ever really resolved. I love it for the most part but some things (Drake, TheBee for examples) annoy the shit out of me.

Den-O is so much fun it's ridiculous. I think labeling it as slapstick comedy is a bit silly though. It's no worse for comedy or goofiniess than shows like Fourze or Wizard. Den-O strikes the best balance between drama and comedy. The characters are all quite likable even though alot of people hate Ryutaro based on their brief experiences. Just like with Kiva most people refuse to acknowledge that the character ever evolves.
This however is 100% true.

Oh yeah, me too. I just wanted to warn him that he got on my nerves, I don't think I've hated a villian this much since The Joker. I don't think that SPLIT LIP should let that deter him in any way, though.

EDIT: I think Den-O explained it a lot better than I did...then again I'm horrible at explaining things, and I really like Ryotarou. He's one of my favorite main Riders.

Den-O would've been so much better if Negataros had been the villian all the way through. Nega's movie is still one of the best Rider Movies.

Kamen Rider is known for Cross-Over movies where no-one actualy crosses over, and one of the Riders only appears for a minute for two. Usually at the end for the final attack and then dissapears somewhere without a word.

Negataros isn't the greatest villain ever but he would have been better than Kai. Honestly I would have preferred to see Gaoh come back in the end. Or I wish they'd come up with Yuuki while the series was going and used him more somehow.

Negataros would've been better than alot of villians they had in Den-O. Den-O reminds me of Goseiger. In that there was no real central villian through the series, just a bunch of smaller villians. And both suffered for it. As much as I love Goseiger, I can't deny it needed a central villian. More than just Brajira. No matter how awesome he was.

Really? Because the only instances of that which come to find are "next series Rider" cameos.
