Well that episode of Arrow had some good moments in it. I liked the John finally did what was right and how they handled the outcome of it.

I loved seeing Madam Xanadu. That was awesome and I hope we see more of her since she didn't really do much of anything. WHat would have really been cool would have had her tell Ollie and Felicity that she became immortal by beating the devil at a card game.

On the other hand, the Ollie and Felicity stuff is so damn annoying. Also not a fan of Alex selling out to HIVE. Does this mean he has been working for them the entire time? UGH!!

That wasn't Madame Xanadu. It was Esrin Fortuna (whoever she is). I'm not sure if she has a real DC counterpart but as far as I could find, she's a new character created for the show. There is a character called Mama Fortuna but I dont believe they're related in any way.

Are you sure? She looked and acted just like Madame Xanadu. Although, I guess it's easy to assume DC wouldn't let them use her due to the movie, so they just made up a Not-Xanadu. I don't recall them ever having her give her name though.

I didn't hear a name either until I read a recap of the episode. I would've preferred it to be Madame Xanadu or another supernatural DC character. Everyone was betting it might have been the Question/Vic Sage since he lives in Hub City but I guess Arrow decided to go with new character that may not have a DC counterpart.

That was another excellent episode despite the corny dialog from Iris at the tail end of the show. I felt the speed force gave him back his powers a little too easily, but I believe that was because they just wanted him to accept his mother's death. On the other hand, oh god, Henry just rose the red flag. He is so going to die before the credits roll on the finale.

I loved Cisco's iZombie comment. Also, the scene moved too quickly, but did anyone recognize any of the Metahumans that were there at the end?

Well that was... better than what we have had these last few episodes. There were some pretty good quips but I don't see how Felicity could just get fired when she is the person who runs the company. They listen to her, not the other way around. The flashback sequences were utterly pointless though, especially the one that was like 20 seconds long at the end of the episode. I miss the days when the flashbacks actually went hand in hand with the show's story. Now they feel like they are just there because they are too afraid to not have them there.

Oh, I did find something interesting out, which makes things even more frustrating. Apparently the show runner of this season is also writing the Agents of Shield comic book for Marvel, so he has his time split between two properties. WTF? That explains so much now why this show has suddenly taken a dip in quality, the guy isn't even fully focused on it.

It's apparently official. Supergirl is now a CW show and is moving from L.A. to Vancouver to film. Hopefully we'll get a Crisis-like event to explain all the changes. Purportedly, Flockhart has agreed to move with the show and some places are reporting that most of the budget cuts will be cancelled out by the lack of a licensing fee so there shouldn't be too much of a loss on screen. Now I can have all the Barry/Kara adorableness that my brain can handle. :D

Now if only the same thing can happen to Constantine....

It's a shame that the Constantine TV show did poorly. I like it better than the awful movie from 2005.

Heck, I would be happy just to swap the characters out for the next season of Legends and drop him there. Of course, I'd rather see Constantine back as it's own thing, but I would take whatever they give me. Sadly, I remember reading somewhere that the Constantine issue was a little more complex because of NBC, so I'm not all that optimistic.

The series wasn't perfect, but it was a million times better than the film. I think Matt Ryan owned the role of Constantine at least as well as Benoist delights as Supergirl. I would love to see him back somehow, some way.

Not to mention a lot of those contracts have dried up by now. So getting the band back together after so long would be tricky

Yeah, that too, darnit. Maybe Legends next year should lift Del Toro's Justice League Dark idea, since he stepped away, and run with that. You could pretty much eliminate the majority of the supporting cast. Plus, even without Dick Durock, I still yearn for some more Swamp Thing. :)

Well guess I'll need to catch up on Supergirl at some point.

If nothing else, I hear the show gets good once it starts digging into it's comic book roots a bit more.

I've only seen the pilot episodes and the Flash crossover myself

So I just watched episode 14 and this show has just become one of the worst, most predictable TV shows I have watched all year on TV. My god, who was the dumbfuck that thought having it turn out that Savage has been working with the Time Masters the entire... time, was a good idea? That idiot needs to be fired for stupidity. I'm almost tempted to not even bother with the last two episodes.

EDIT After calming down I decided to just go ahead and watch episosde 15. It still sucked, but the dummy in me just can't drop a show with only 2 episodes left. Obviously Cold is not permenantly dead whether he shows up in the next episode or just the next season of Flash since he still needs to be there to form the Rogues. Not to mention he is one of their best actors on these shows. I also noticed one of the ships was named Godfried. I really hope the New Gods have not been reduced to being AI programs in this universe becasue that would suck. Although, given that WB is going to be using them for the movies, it wouldn't surprise me if they did. God this show sucks. How did it go from being a fun silver age crossover story to a pretentious, generic, garbage New 52 story? Well, we'll see what happens in the finale. Maybe the show can redeem itself.

Flash tonight: Sometimes I hate it when I'm right, and yet, I am loving it here while I do not in Legends and Arrow. Dafuq?

Nevertheless, another rockin episode that was on epic proportions. I'm not sure if it was because she could do something different or if it was better direction, but Katie Cassidy was awesome as Black Siren. I loved the scenes with Cisco and Kaitlyn when they confronted her. However, the best moment of the episode goes to Wally and his car against Siren. That was ingenius!!! Now I'm more convinced than ever that John Wesley Shipp is going to be Earth 2's Jay Garrick and that he is indeed the man in the iron mask. Oh, and the little flirting bit between Henry and Tina was a nice touch of fanserivce. Oh man, next week is going to be grand.

BTW, which character was the Metahuman with the purple powers?

Surprising no one, it's been confirmed that next season's Arrow/Flash/Supergirl/(Legends maybe?) crossover is in the works.

Which leads me to think they'll be introducing aliens next season while also dealing with a universe merging event.

Wow, I'm glad someone was. At least it was better than the Agents of Shield finale. Not to mention the characters actually got a moment of down time after the big battle and had a send off. I'm not sure I will be back next season as this show went down hill really badly. I can't believe they really think they can stretch it out to 23 episodes. The only thing that did interest me in the episode was the mention of the Justice Society. That aside, this was the second worst TV series on TV this season.
