Well I'm depressed. I just finished the second season to Spectacular and my god that was freaking amazing. I think Gangland is hands down my favorite episode of the entire series. Getting to see Doc Ock, Tombstone, Silverman, and Spider-Man in a big brawl for all was absolutely badass. The only episode I feel was weak was the one with Molten Man, but that is because that was one less episode to feature another favorite villain of mine instead. Nevertheless, it is a shame Greg Weissman always gets screwed when it comes to his series because the man is fantastic. But who knows, maybe Disney will decide to can Ultimate and revisit the Spectacular world in the near future. Okay, fat chance, but it would be nice. Overall, I give this series a 9/10 stars and it is hands down the best Spider-Man animated series ever. I doubt anything will come as close to being as good as this one despite how short lived it was. Oh yeah, and the final episode definitely made for a great series finale even though it was never intended to be.

There were too many legal issues involved with continuing Spectacular Spider-Man. But, given the recent Marvel/Sony Spider-Man deal, something could get worked out. Maybe not a cartoon, but a comic book continuation could happen.

So I have bought the first half of the collected Spider-Man Clone Saga today and quite enjoyed it. After what I heard I shouldn’t even bother with the second half. Meh... now I feel like I wasted 20 bucks even though I liked it.

After the second issue of Secret Wars and reading some of the tie-ins I´m already completely in love with this event.

So Squirrel Girl is having the first four issue reprinted. I'm still holding out for the TPB in Sept. But I gotta say the idea of owning #4, and only #4, just to have a comic on display that say's 'BUTTS' is more humorous to me than it should be.

I really wanna check out new squirrel girl, because supposedly it's good, but the art is just so offputting to me that I just can't.

I have yet to check any tie-in, but #2 was amazing.
It was such a creative use of all the concepts and characters, and it was so engaging, we had so many pages yet it still wasn't enough.

Btw, do any of you know of a way to check what issues are out and which aren't outside of simbly browsing Comixology?

What I love the most about what they did with Battleworld is make it feel completely alive and give it an already established history.

Add me to the list, I think it looks fine in certain covers but the art in the comic isn’t appealing to me at all.

It's really fleshed out, and for such a bizarre world everything fits incredibly well.
Honestly, even after the event is over, I'd love to see books set in the Battleworld.

I don't love it, but don't mind it either, the only thing that truly bothers me are the faces.

I would buy the hell out of that.

Seeing how much thought they put into Battleworld I wanna get even more of the tie-ins later on :lol

this is where my gripes stem from.

what really kills me on this art is how the mouths seem to have no rules and no sense. many a time I find that the upper half of the mouths are going in one direction while the lower is going in the opposite direction.

Resumed my reading of the Runaways last night. This is a really fun team.

The Ghost Rider fanboy in me is stoked for this new mini series.

I read the first issue but I could only make it about three pages into the second before my eyes just couldn't tolerate any more of that art.

I was going to read Convergence stuff till DC announced new stuff will be releasing after convergence.

Convergence is kinda terrible. Read Ultron Forever instead.

Coming to think of it, do any of the Secret Wars books tackle the current tv shows?
I understand the movies staying out of it, but since Ultimate Spider-Man was involved in Spider-Verse I am curious if anything like that will happen with the Battleworld.
