So apparently gashapon 14 Durian & Pinecone use the candy toy lockseed base mold, so only 2 battery slots and full rounded front hinges...odd. Its annoying because I like modifying them for an LED and use that extra battery slot.

I've never really been clear on the difference between candy toy and gashapon. Especially in regards to Lockseeds.

I just noticed my Kurokgae has the hole on the left side of his belt for the Musou Saber holster, is this normal? It seems really odd. Also got my Kachidoki Arms today, some of the parts on the armor pop off really easily and this Gaim doesn't have a holster for the saber which is unpainted.

He uses the same base, and thus tooling, as Gaim and Zangetsu, so it's to be expected that he has the port for the holster.

Yeah, my Kurokage has one too. I think t was just something they ignored while making him.

CSToys got more DX lock seeds in stock! I'm going to try to stay up until it reach 8 PM in Japan to get a few of them.

Kachidoki been out of stock on CSToys for a while now due to that one guy buying like 50 of them and selling them on Ebay for over $80.

Haven't CSToys been limiting their stock on how many AC figures a single person can buy for a while now?

The 50 lockseeds thing was a while back now, they've gotten the odd kachidkoi restock but the thing with buying from CSTOYS is that the hot items almost always sell out as soon as the stock goes online.

And yeah they've been limiting new items to 1 per person now, I think they go up to 2 for candy toy stuff though.

Since the Rider Taisen Lock Seeds are sold out on nearly everywhere, I had to use Amazon to buy them. I used my prime account to get one from Japan for $50 with free shipping. I know it's a bit much, but I hope it's worth it.

Seeing how the restocks already sold out on CStoys sadly seems I'm gonna need to go to amazon for the watermelon and strawberry dx seeds along with grape and mango ><.

One thing I have been wondering is what is with this key hole thing on the side of the DX Kachidoki lock seed, it doesn't seem like it has a use currently so I'm guessing its going to be for a future toy or am I missing something?

If I remember correctly, the Keyhole is meant to link up with another toy to unlock Kiwami Arms, the final form.

So I've been playing around with the pegs in the back of the Genesis Drivers Lock dock, and I'm wondering about the colour/sound combos that don't match the four known Energy locks.
Theres:
White light/ voice says 'liquid' or something similar. Probably so that it does something unique if you try to use standard locks.

Green light/ voice says the usual 'soda'. My best guess is that it's for the Energy Pinecone seed in the summer movie.

But the one that really gets my attention is the one where it cycles through colours and says 'SODA!' in a noticably more excited voice. I'm wondering if anybody has any idea what that is for. Maybe one of the Genesis Riders gets a Kachidoki style super mode?

Got arms change gaim from a convention I went to today.

The arms change gimmick is kinda fun but I wish everything locked in better.

At first I thought the back piece pegged onto something so the fact that it just sits there makes it feel like it's missing another step.

It's an okay toy but not for me. I'm definitely sticking with Figuarts

I really like the Rider Taisen set. They're well worth $30. Not sure about 50. Might be stretching it, but considering you're getting 30 sets of sounds, $50 isn't so bad really. Though all the attack sounds are kinda generic.

Hmm....I'm trying to avoid getting him, but if you decide to get rid of him, I miiiiiight be interested. But I'm in no position to be spending more right now unless I make more sales.

Anyone else order Triumphant from CSTOys? I guess it isn't the stores fault, but I'm so disheartened. I went for the more experience shipping option because there wasn't that much in it and according to their website it was the difference between ten working days and like fifty but it's been like three weeks now and it's yet to materialise, so I may as well have gone SAL and saved myself a bit.

I think the mail over here has been a bit shit lately, so it could be two options, one it might be in customs who love to take their time, or it's taking much more time than usual for some other reason . Thing is with SAL the estimate goes up to around 12 weeks to reach here so it's all fair game until that hits.

Happened to me recently with two packages, one from mandarake which just took a damn long time and the other was renewal kabuto who got custom charges placed on him. Both got sent out with just a day between them.

I hope it's not too difficult to get hold of an Arms Change Knuckle. I've never tried to get exclusives before, but for some reason I love Knuckle. I wanna see his arms on everyone else, too!

Getting the arms change would be cool, thankfuly found cstoys still has preorders for knuckle and kurokage, now just need to worry about Bravo and Gridon since their preorders are sold out and I'm not sure where else I'll be able to get them. I know they have sound series but really shooting to get all the show riders' dx lockseeds and faceplates.

Why is it that people want the Figuarts to replicate this gimmick or parts swap?

Seriously, the latter is more trouble then it would be worth and there's no way of doing the former with hard ABS plastic without it costing twice as much as they do or run the risk of parts breaking.

Because they don't have enough money. If money weren't a problem and they gave every single arms a different figuart, I'd buy them all, though, I'm sort of doing that already because I'm insane.

I would like the figuarts to have gimmicks, but then like you said, I'd be very weary of breakage. And it's cool to have the best representation of something perform like it does on the show.

And some people can't justify buying multiple figures that are only slightly different. Again, money.
