It's for that reason that I can see them doing it after all the Gaoranger stuff. It'll act as a very quick buffer in between the series that have so many auxiliary mecha. Like Shinkenger or Kyoryuger.

Finished the giraffe and deer from GaoIcarus.

Was really cheap of Bandai to not paint the symbols on both legs/sides of the shoulders. Come on. I don't even mind stickers, it's the inconsistency that bothers me.

I will say the turtle cove display stand and effect part for GaoHunter are nice additions.

yeah i would have preferred both the arm symbols be stickers then the colored wrap around sticker for the bellies be replaced with paint. struggled getting that one to sit right on both

I use stickers for my SMPs. I'm no good at painting ABS since it's so slick. I will say the stickers are pretty good, with the only really bad ones being the stickers on the falcon's legs because they're on bulbous surfaces.

Also as cheap as the symbol stickers on the giraffe and deer are, those incredible eye pieces for Icarus' wings make up for it.

yeah i was expecting the eye piece to be "choose what sticker your going to use" was pleasantly surprised they are fully painted swappable parts

one minor thing i noticed was when using the bison as legs it tends to have issues balancing but you can use the tail of the falcon to act as a tripod and there is the stand it comes with but for the most part the stand is not needed

Yeah the balance is quite nice. With the rhino legs it's completely stable despite the wings.

Speaking of I do find the wings very tight, though they may loosen up. The joints on the falcon overall are quite stiff, which may be due to its size, but it can make folding the legs in a bit tough. Being ABS though I imagine it will loosen up with use like my other SMPs.

Can't wait for GaoGod. I'm also hoping I can nab the big lion and elephant off Mandarake but so far only one has shown up.

I think this formation should be become a true Gaorangers' strongest robo formation.

looking at mine looks like they had to modify the rhino and the bison to work as as it is there is now way for the right bison leg to have the front gold part fold down. and the grey part of the rhino can nto fit in the grey part of the bison leg with out cutting

i would just take the rhino out of this formation entirely that way gao muscle striker could still be formed and then you can have all the main mechs at the same time

or swap bison for rhino. then have normal gao muscle and this formation with the larger feet so it would be more stable

Man, after looking at these mecha on Rangerwiki I REEEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLYYYYYY want SMP Boukenger kits. They can do what they did with Gaoranger & have a large pool of options that can last them for the next couple years' worth of sales. I'd be SO DOWN for that.

SMP Boukenger mecha would be nice, but I wouldn't mind them doing SMP Hurricanger mecha as well.

I think the most likely are Timeranger and Dairanger, since they're the other popular Sentai requests from this poll that got us GoGoV and Gaoranger (the other six are non-Sentai)

i will leave with the the giraffe and deer arms but did add a picture of it as kentarus and also here is the longer thinner blade for the blue elephant. the gray is a very different color and does not match the black elephant that came with gaoknight

We're also getting Exkaiser and Might Gaine SMP releases, so it seems like they're actually taking these lists into serious consideration.

Personally, I've been waiting for Dairanger kits since the line started, so this gives me hope.

Dairanger would only have three releases to it too, right? The main mech, Kibaranger's tiger and the giant dragon (probably preban)?

Oh my god they did that?? That had to suck. Just looking it up now and they did do that in Japan but they also sold a set of all 5 as normal.

I mostly just want Dairen'oh and Won Tiger, but Daijinryuu would be amazing. If they do it, I hope it's huge like Grand Liner or the HG Psycho Gundam.

I can see that working. Though part of me wonders if they'd wanna maximize profits by releasing the Red Dragon on it's own alongside the other Thunderzords in a separate pack, some time passes, & they release the Tigerzord next to a rerelease of the 4 Thunderzords. I dunno why but I can see that happening too.

The thing about SMP releases is that they're pretty limited to begin with, so it would likely be hard to justify multiple releases with splitting something up like that. It's definitely not something the line has done before

I wish the releases weren't so limited.

Red Dragon Thunderzord is very high on my wishlist.

It's always been a great design and the tech in Minipla should make it really shine.

If it were a standalone release, I would pick it up an extra one to display on its own.

Yeah...I really don't see any reason to split up Dairen'oh into separate releases, especially when they're already split into multiple boxes per set. It just makes no sense to me.

If Dairanger comes out, I imagine Dairen'oh/Thunder Megazord as one release, Won Tiger/Tigerzord as another release that's smaller and cheaper, and then potentially Daimugen/Tor and/or maybe Daijinryuu/Serpentera as P Bandai releases. I don't see a reason to do it any other way.

Dairen-oh also doesn’t have an easy/logical way to be split into multiple boxes inside the shipping container for the candy toy aspect without bloating it's size. As I keep going to 6 boxes for everything (2 for Ryusei-oh with the phoenix packed in as well, 2 for the lion and a box for the Pegasus and Kirin each) and that's not factoring how the sled for the Chi Palace mode or whatever it was called would be handled

Timeranger Robo is much easier to do in a variant of the Gaoranger packing format (Red and the Weapon in box 1, Blue and Yellow in box 2, Green and Pink in box 3) so my money is on that being our next sentai release

i could see wontiger being a p-bandia like how jet garuda was for the jetman mechs and come with the sled

More recent SMP releases have seen two retail releases with the second in particular usually covering the Sixth, with Gaoranger even having three, so I honestly have no doubt Won Tiger will be retail. The turtle and the giant dragon are the most Preban bait things ever though
