I just realised why they're taking so long with making Seihou Sagohzo -- it's clearly because they want to complete the core 5 Gokaigers first before releasing the 6th :lol

I guess my confidence in them doing it went down a bit considering Shauta didn't come with a whole bunch? I was expecting his tentacle legs.

I think for super involved stuff like Tajador's wings, they're saving that for the 'special' combos -- all the releases so far have had something special about them though (Gatakiriba's legs, Shauta's wired whips, Tajador's everything, even Ratoratah came with an extra head and sword since there was nothing else for it to come with). So I think Putotyra will have something besides the axe, and it's definitely more likely for it to have extras over the likes of Shauta!

I'm just wondering if they'll go beyond and do Burakawani. Usually I don't care too much for completing Every Suit Ever from a show and being ultra-comprehensive, but the Seihou OOO line has really been something so special that I'd love to see them provide more combo changes -- though I definitely can't see them doing more than Burakawani and Super Tatoba.


(Sagohzo's gauntlets will totally be removable btw. They're committed to being not just show-accurate but recreating as many things that happened on the show as possible, which includes OOO's bare gorilla arms)

He will sell out instantly and be scalped to hell, but he will be $10 cheaper if you manage to get one...so happy.

Honestly, retail release means either he won't be a pain to get later if you miss the first window or he could get the OOO refresh treatment.

But with Seihous its hard to tell. Stuff like Den-O and OOO aren't too hard to get still while Kiva and previous are impossible to find for under 100.

Considering they did Tamashii combo, another movie form with Burakawani doesn't seem too unlikely. Granted, they only had to make a whole new torso and reuse the other two thirds

Has there been any other retail form change/supporting characters done in SS? Momotaros was retail and that's also become very easy to find

I'm assuming OOO, Den-O, and Momotaros are easy finds now because a lot of people have bought up a large chunk of them in either duplicates or customer number.

OOO cuz a lot of ppl would want to form change/display all the form changes they could do (that one pic of a guy displaying ALL of the random combos) and he got a resale

Den-O since ppl would buy up two to display both Sword and Gun.

Momotaros since he's also a fairly popular icon of Den-O.

Dark Kiva could either be a seihou release becoming easier to find down the line of enough ppl buy him or gets a resale, but I could also see him becoming something like those higher-valued aftermarket figures. More likely on the latter.

I'm... Probably not gonna pick him up. I think I'll grab a regular Kiva instead sometime.

Dark Kiva is as beautiful as I've been hoping, but I'm not sure I'm too happy about him being a retail release for once? He's one I absolutely have to have, so fighting to order him versus having a guaranteed painless order for an exclusive is going to be a chore..

TBF, these are only supposed to be sheathed, so I can understand why they didn't bother detailing the blade

Between these and the short-bladed Saikou in the gashapon series, it'd make for some fun photos of the riders or other figures using the henshin belts.

Oh my lord, I did not realize... you're supposed to swap the hand covers between hand sets? And they're not using metallic paint for the swords or bothering to put images on the WondeRide Books. What is this low rent toy line that's replaced Figuarts?

And UGH, I'd preordered the trio and Calibur. If I'd waited to see what the quality would be like, I'd have just skipped Saber until the inevitable Shinkocchou Seihou.

I think they mentioned some of the cost cutting decisions are because of the price set for the base retail figures so I expect the more expensive exclusives to have fist covers and painted swords (excluding Espada as his sword is the same model as Saber and Blades so in their minds they must match). As for the trinkets I feel as if they could include official stickers or something.

They posted a new picture of Dragonic Knight just now and the Wonder Ride Book is actually painted...wow...

Despite what I said before about not minding cheap retail releases skimping out on certain details, I have very mixed feelings about this.

Very interesting. The holy seiken is now silver again, unlike the inital pics and the WRB has the decals.
