Update from my Grand Zi-O journey, Zenmarket had to cancel my order because it sold out on P-Bandai, so I was able to pre-order from Tokullectibles instead. For the win.

So yeah this is one of the drawbacks of Zenmarket. Even though I put in the request to order the figure while it was still in stock, by the time they got around to it, it had already sold out.

Yea, stay away from Nippon-Yasan.

I've been shopping around other places for TWE, so I have some pre-orders from Hobby-Genki and MyKombini that are released later this year. Okiniland was pretty good too and helpful when I needed to change shipping method

I still want Delta Rise Claw, mostly because it's a great final form and also because a Beliarok accessory would be really fun.

Delta Rise Claw isn't my favorite Z form, that goes to Alpha Edge and Gamma Future but Beliarok would be enough for me to want to own him!

Sooo, my local hobby shop just opened up pre-orders for Ultraman Taiga, Z, and Zero. Set for June releases.

I'm checking around Amiami and it seems like there's nothin yet. Best to keep an eye tho? In case?

Z Alpha Edge Reissue or Base form?

Alpha Edge, ye. Like a reissue of the retail Ultras. Maybe this is just extra stock, I guess? Idk. But if they really are reissues, it's kinda great that they're making at least these three evergreen releases.

So here's what Ichigata will look like in the final product. First pic is the with molded plastic and the 2nd pic is with painted blue. Eh, looks fine. They apparently explained in the SHF stream that Ichigata's blue was always meant to be bare plastic much like Zero-One, but the product page mistakenly listed it as painted. They apologized for this mistake being so late into production run. Take that as you will.

For anyone buying the SHFUpgrade Seiken, you might wanna buy only 1 till maybe SHFUpgrade puts out versions for Nagare and Ikazuchi. Blades' Seiken has differently placed holes.

I love this form. Very cool that it includes the Z-riser sword, altho, I don't know if the Z-riser itself is included or you just get a plug-in for the Z-riser. He also comes with the magic shield thing. I'm guessing this is being made because of all the Tiga push.

Will be cool to get in teh aftermarket.

Unrelated to Gamma Future over there, but the thought of a Shin Kamen Rider SHF kinda excites me. It somewhat means some representative of Ichigo in the shelf without me having to shell out some hundred dollary-doos for the SHFSS.

LOTS of great stuff in this release, SHF finally remembering it can actually include accessories with its figures! Aside from the magic circle and sword he also has lots of pose hands including one for snapping his figures. Just a very extensive and beautiful release all around; I daresay one of the best SHF has put out in a while

That is really great! Tho, I noticed his hands are red instead of Alpha Edge's silver, so one has to get Juggler to get the holding hands to hold the Z-riser which is a shame, but at least there's another way to obtain a Z-riser!

While this looks great, without a confirmation that Beta Smash is in the works I won't buy it. I want to have them both to go alongside Alpha Edge, not only one. And I assume this is another piece to cash in on the Tiga anniversary.

Yep especially since Gamma Future is a combo consisting of the TDG trio.

I'm almost hoping it'll be P-Bandai exclusive. Seems like those are easier to get than retail these days

I would really love a SHF of Ultraman Z. That one was on display at one point right? Is it odd that we're getting Gamma Future before the base suit?

Technically speaking, as far as the show and merchandising was concerned for the longest time; Alpha Edge was Z's base form -- Z Original only came to prominence in the final episode and other media. For comparison, Ultra Action Figure done all four of Z's medal forms during the show's run as they debuted, but only recently released Z Original last month. So it does kind of make sense to see the likes of Gamma Future first.

Also, fun fact: Alpha Edge as a suit was designed first and Z's "base form" came afterward as a stripped down version of it.

That makes sense. So Alpha Edge will likely be what we see in future crossovers and general promotional depictions?

The opposite, actually -- in a similar manner to Orb Origin, Z Original seems to have overtaken Alpha Edge as the base form (which I'm a very big fan of). Like I said, the last episode changed its prominence -- when we next see Z, Original will be his main thing

Guess I gotta pick up a Z Original SHF, huh. Hopefully they give us another Z-riser along with it. And/or his energy chains/beam effect.
