Ok, so stupid question. I want to have my Haunter evolve into Gengar. But I don't see any obvious way to trade with people like in other games. Am I missing something? Also would someone be willing to trade so I can get this thing to evolve?

I'm game to trade, sure.
And I believe trading is done on the touch screen with people on your friends list.

Some guy helped me evolve my Phantump and Swirlix, but when I tried to offer him an Eevee, he left. But he left me with an Aerodactyl :lol. Another Mega Evolution added to my list :lol

I love going online in Pokemon X and getting bombarded with messages from people all over the world. Today it seems South Korea is pretty active.
Just finished trading with Rich and I must say, the connection is spectacularly stable compared to trading/battling in Gen 4 and 5. This is my 2nd trade (Traded for a Riolu with a friend on day 1), and I'm surprised that it didn't time out and I didn't have to fight with error messages out the wazoo.

Anyway, I still haven't found Wonder Trade gold yet...

It's really crazy, but also kind of cool to get little messages from all over the world. Just hopping online to trade with Bigrich I saw some from Japan (Typical), Sweden, Germany, South Korea (A LOT), and Australia. It's awesome.

Did the Tower of Mastery last night and was pretty underwhelmed with it. Don't know why, but I was expecting it to be more than just a long walk and a 5 second Lucario battle.

Oh well, now I have Mega Blastoise and all is good with the world.

So is Mega Evolution like broken...or what?

I mean my Mega Lucario just owns, but I assumed there'd be some kind of balance to this, but there is literally nothing stopping you just mega evolving at the start of battle an just one shotting the whole enemy team.

I mean I'm not complaining but I thought there'd be some kind of downside.

I'm not sure other than using a Combee with honey gather. But I've read sweet scent has the same effect too, but I haven't put that to the test yet.

Can't find where to buy it but you can use a Combee with the Honey Gather ability.

My Combusken evolved into a Blaziken right in the middle of the Grass gym. I can't wait to Mega Evolve him and Blaze Kick through the entire gym :lol

Lucky. I cant wait for mine to evolve. Though Combusken is great just for tge fact that he is a chicken on fire... :p

I can confirm that sweet scent works to attract hordes. The easiest pokemon to catch with it are Illumise, on route 7 outside the day care.
