I don't follow Ben 10 religiously or anything, but I'm a sucker for alternate history and what if time lines. So it seems pretty fun when the show does it.
I saw the episode last night with Eon, and I do think Professor Paradox is a pretty fun character even if he is pretty much this show's Doctor Who. I preferred Eon's design from Alien Force though to be honest, this new one seems like a downgrade and doesn't look as cool. Omniverse seems like a decent enough series, and I'm so so on the art style. I don't find it offence, Probably due to a little biased on my part since I've met Derrek J Wyatt at conventions once or twice and I enjoyed Animated. I do have to wonder how fans are reacting to the change in art style though, because I can't look at Ben's face without thinking of a cat. Keven is another change that sticks out to me, just due to the fact that he looks Goth now. |
Did Gumball just reference the i will find and i will kill you line?
Because that was hilarious. |
Official trailer for Korra Book 3!
Episodes 3-6 leaked via the Mexican site by the way, so if you don't want spoilers, be very careful with what you search for right now. I haven't watched the episodes entirely (due to them being unsubbed last I checked and I'd only be able to understand maybe 30% of them otherwise) but did watch a video explaining all of the new characters introduced and man... Heavy stuff going on here and I'm so excited. |

Reliving some found childhood memories by going through Reboot again, and I'm surrpised by how well the show holds up.
You could argue that the CGI looks a little primitive, but it has this retro charm to it that early PSX games do. You start to notice a lot more things as an adult, like animation errors and some of the geek culture refferences. I'm going through Season 1 right now and just finished the Gigabyte episode. Personally, I think the best episodes from season 1 were Wizards, Warriors, and a Word from our Sponsor, and of course the Nullzilla episode. They do a good job of adding lots of variety, which is good considering how formulaic the first season is, but they do a good job of creating a world and making it feel alive…that's for sure. At the same time, the show kinda bumbs me out..knowing that it ends on an unresolved cliffhanger and there doesn't seem to be any interest in picking the show back up again. Just think of what Reboot could be with today's technology…*sigh* |
I was really mad that ReBoot chose to end its revival with a SECOND cliffhanger, that will probably never get resolved properly either.
You had the chance to go out on a high note and you blew it. |

OK; what the hell? I've been rewatching Gargoyles on Disney's Youtube channel but when I went to check today all the videos have been reclassified "private."
Disney is removing its own show from its own channel. |

The Japanese-produced (I forget who exactly did it) episode of Adventure Time was really, really weird.

This episode felt like what people who haven't watched the show think it is - an acid trip. |

Yeah... I took a look at the episode. It was definitely like an acid trip. At every scene I would just think to my self "what the hell is going on?"
|
I tried watching Adventure Time when I wasn't stoned and found it really dull. Bravest Warriors on the other hand is always fun.

Just started the Matrix arch of Reboot and finished the Hero Selective episode last night.
I still can't beleive that they made the always gets into trouble little kid of the show and turned him into a muccle bound bad ass. Still, I think the shock value would've been a lot more powerful had they not went and spoiled whom Matrix was in the opening monolouge. |
So I've been watching more of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH and Avengers Assemble on and off as it's been coming on TV.
AA gets slightly better, it has some cool moments but it still seems like a lazy attempt at cashing in on the whole Cimenatic Universe thing. And when it isn't cashing in on the Marvel cinematic universe, it's making the Avengers look like unruely children, Hawkeye is particular comes off as rather douchey in this series. And my beef with Red Skull has hit a new low, Cosmic Skull…what is with these writers in putting ridiculous subtitles and prefixes to Skull's name? It just comess of as WAY the hell silly. Red skull really did nothing to earn himself the post as both main villian for this season AND final boss. IMO: he just doesn't feel like that big of a deal to me. I think of the three Marvel cartoons currently airing, Agents of SMASH is slightly above the rest of the pack. I like watching it from time to time, even if the reality tv-like segemnts bring it down sometimes. You'rep robably wondering why I'm still watching these shows if all I'm going to do is complain about them? What can I say? they're gulty pleasures and I enjoy a good mindless super hero show every now and then. |
Huh! This looks interesting!
