Hey so do you think it'll be cheaper to get genocider and dark raider through zenmarket or tokullectables? I feel like if I have other items to ship zen would work, but tokullectibles would work better if I just have those two. What do you think?

If theyre both released at the same time, you might save on shipping by consolidating with Zen versus the the individual import costs TK adds to their prices

lol I swear I'm not just saying this to get in on a group order, but Tokullectibles definitely marks stuff up. As stated above, Tokullectibles adds individual import costs+fees to their prices. Genocider and Darkraider are marked up by around 40 USD each. So even if you get just those two from Tokullectibles, you're paying an extra 80 USD just for them to make a profit.

From my experience with you, there's no way Zenmarket's fees+shipping would exceed 80 USD.

Sounds like I'll be doing zen for those two then. So that'll be an order in december ish.

Unrelated: I opened my sodo birth set today and the stickers are all wrong. What is sticker 1 on my sheet is stickers 1/2 on the other sheets I've seen, 2 on mine is 3/4 on other sheets, and my stickers for the wrist wraps are way too long. Did anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what I should do?

I had a similar problem with SO-DO Kenzan I think. It definitely happened to me before, I had to look up a video on youtube.

Considering usual YU-DO fare, this is just wild. They pushed the limits of what this line is usually capable of, and while there's a couple niggles here and there like base Twokaiser not having his Geardaringer; it's all in all such an awesome wave. I cannot wait to pick this one up

So there's 12 figures in the box, I'm guessing the 3 spares will be twokaisers (gokaiser is what I was gonna call him whoops) for the armors to attach to so you can display every form, since this is post Zi-o sodo.

That's what I imagine too -- I could see there possibly being an extra Kudack, but it should mostly be Twokaiser for his extra forms

Also would y'all want to see sodo stop doing two boxes and start being more like yudo where you get 1 full figure per box? I don't personally know if YUDO has more stickers then sodo, so if you do have experience with modern yudos feel free to say this idea is bad.

Nah, for Kamen Rider it does make a lot more sense to have two boxes. With Sentai the suits are largely spandex with simple designs and colour layouts, so naturally it's not hard to get that in one box; but with Kamen Rider the designs are constantly more complex, there's more layers to them, etc. Zenkaiger has certainly been an exception, but well, that's why you're seeing multiple boxes for most of the designs.

SO-DO have actually managed to do 1-box figures where they had to like in Rideplus, but I definitely prefer it being the way it is because you get a lot more quality out of each figure.

I'm thinking there's two options on the extras:
1) Twokaiser x2, Kudakks x1
2) Super Zenkaiser A x1, Super Zenkaiser B x1(both boxes), Twokaiser x1

In the past, YU-DO has triple packed the leader and 6th rangers in their respective waves. They've also double packed the troopers in their waves as well, so I personally think that 3 Twokaisers and 2 Kudakks per case tracks. Of course, wave 2 usually doesn't have the leader in it either, so that could change things.

Is there precedent either for the 6th to have four major forms in one wave like this?

So what advancements do you think SODO Revice will bring to the line? I'm guessing the waist tilt from Chronicle Gaim will come over, but am unsure what else.

I'm honestly not sure what improvements they could make beyond bringing over some of the Gaim stuff? Which I mean, I'm really not torn up about that; the quality they reached in Saber and Gaim is INSANE! But it certainly feels like a plateau, y'know? Beyond maybe finding room in the boxes for more hands and incorporating that waist tilt, I don't know what else can realistically be done

If we get an ab crunch I'm going to be really sad cause that means I'll have to get back into SO-DO.

I could see an up in paint or a return of stickers for the back too. I feel like maybe a cut on the elbows to make em bend a bit further maybe? The knees get a real nice bend but the elbows have been stuck at 90 for a while, so a little bump to em would be nice.

I have mentioned it before, but I actually really like the mooks of Zenkaiger. I love the keyboard mouth thing they have going on. I'm actually tempted to army build the Yu-Dos of them.

It would give me even more of an excuse to pick up Stacey.

Pokemon's a different size than Rider/Sentai/Ultraman Shodo and non-scaled so if they did trainers I'd want them to be kid characters so they'll look decent with other Shodo lines. I probably wouldn't buy any unless they made specific characters I'd want. Same reason I have bought any Shodo Pokemon, they just having hit any special ones I really want toys of. Now if they wanted to make the kids from Digimon, I'd buy them all (but I assume that line is over).

I general though, I'd really like a boarder toku hero Shodo line that would include things like Ishinomori heroes (anything aside from Rider and Sentai even if not toku), Metal Heroes, and any other toku they can get. Garo would be great to see in a line like this and help sell the line.

It also comes with a tilted hand for normal Blades, and a sticker for the clear Nagare here so that it can also be used as a sort of effect piece version! If you're worried about this being a waste of a release or something by the way, don't worry; it takes up one box instead of two (and as a result does not come with a stand).

Hi, I recently pre-ordered the Zenkai Yu-Do set 2 and I was thinking of getting some So-Do/Shodo Rider figurines to go with them, are they about the same size as Yu-Do? Or there's some significant size difference?

There's a slight difference; YU-DO's thighs are a little taller so there's a small height discrepancy there. It's not enough to effect things for me personally but YMMV; here's my Zi-O KuugaArmour with Kiramei Red

Shodo Genm on the left, SO-DO Wing Form on the right. SO-DO maybe half a head taller than Shodo, which is easy enough to blend in with some posing. Shodo with YU-DO, given the combo of half-heads, it's probably more noticeable, but none of us seem to have the right combo of YU-DO, SO-DO, and Shodo to check :p

It seems I'm sticking to So-Do for now. Do you guys have any tips to keep the stickers from peeling off, btw?

Smother the shit out of them in clear nail polish. They're $1 a bottle and you can buy them pretty much anywhere. I recommend getting the rapid-drying kind. Apply a small layer - especially around the edges of the stickers.

Gently feel the sticker after 20-30 minutes(that's just me since I'm very patient with this process) and if it isn't satisfactory, apply another layer. You don't want to apply a fuck ton of nail polish at once because it'll not only take longer to completely dry, but it might drip because of gravity and it'll start to dry in a place you don't want it to.

Probably most importantly - never brush, as tempting as it is. There's a good chance you'll scrape the details right off the stickers themselves. Always dab or drip. Once you are satisfied with how the figure and stickers feel, give it a day for the nail polish to completely harden. These toys were practically made for this since they even come with stands that help with the process.

Wear a facemask while you do this because sniffing nail polish for long periods of time is really fucking bad for you and you'll immediately notice that the day after. I've gotten sick multiple times because I'm dumb.

All in all, it's completely worthwhile to do. I've wasted hours upon hours but it feels really fucking amazing. The stickers on all of my SO-DO figures look and feel like molded details. I can't even pry off the stickers even if I tried.
