1) Like Powerman said, the whole RG and TransArms thing is pretty BSy and is a definitely a Deus ex Machina. A Gunpla will be getting it's ass kicked, activate either system and then clean house. It's just something that is, as I said, fairly bullshitty. However the show is great at getting you into everything, so in the moment you don't really mind.

2) These are plastic model kits. How are these people able to make these things resistaint to particles, certain attacks, and all of that stuff. This is a lot more of a distraction when you take into mind that some of these people are kids. Plus how exactly can you assign power to the model and weapons? It doesn't make sense. But like with the RG this is something that you forget in the heat of the show because of how well it sucks you into the show. But even then this is an aspect which makes no sense logically.

I think that's a big part of why I prefer the system in Gunpla Builders Beginning, the kit doesn't fight directly, it's simply scanned, so any special skills can be attributed to the computer database comparing it to the show versions.
