I prefer Alpha Edge over his base form, but I'm buying this one solely cuz it'll be probably the most prominent Z look going forward and cuz he comes with the beam. Still sucks you have to get someone else for his Z-Riser tho.

Now I wonder how Trigger's SHF gonna be like. Hope he comes with the sword version of the weapon, but I guess I'll be fine without it. Kinda goofy (in a cool way) anyway.

He also comes with the most important accessories: pointing hands!!

He actually comes with a LOT of different types of hands; I can count 6 pairs from the pictures we have so far (fists, chop/ray, splayed, alternate splayed, pointing, two-fingered pointing). The blog notes that this form is known for its expressiveness (particularly with Haruki) so that's why they packed in more than the usual. Really nice release; has more than I expected! Was absolutely expecting to pay 6600 Yen for this as a Premium Bandai release with 3 pairs of hands and nothing else.

Man base form Z looks great. I wasn’t even particularly excited about it before but now I want one badly. Particularly because of all the expressive hands so you can create poses from the audio dramas and his conversations with Haruki.

I kind of don’t want this like I wanted Alpha Edge, as an action piece for battle scenes, I want this more like Momotaros as in a great representation of the actual character to have fun posing him in silly ways.

And they're teasing Beta Smash too - wow. But I already passed on Gamma Future now so I think I will sit that one out as well. Which is a bit sad since that suit was so awesome with all the fun wrestling stuff, but I guess just having Alpha Edge and base form Z together will look better on my shelf.

Plus, now I'm not all that worried they're going to skip Delta Rise Claw anymore. When they go this deep with Z releases it would be weird to not finish the set with the last form. Can't wait for the 1/12-scale Beliarok accessory.

Never watched Black or Black RX but know about the latter from Masked Rider but that's a beautiful looking figure that'll stand out on people's displays

Amazing stuff! I love how dynamic the poses are for your shelves. Also a fan of how the Heisei Main Rider shelf goes right-to-left for Phase 1, and left-to-right for Phase 2. It makes for a very appealing visual.

Has anyone noticed that BBTS has just stopped doing Ultraman SHFs, by the way? They didn't put up Tiga pre-orders despite it being a while, nor have they put up any recent Premium Bandai listings like Gamma Future. I think the latest thing they have is Fuma. What's the deal there, were they just not selling? I can't think of any other importer that does them either; Tokullectibles is focused squarely on Rider and DBZ.

BBTS put up Shin Ultraman. I have him on preorder through them.

Tokullectibles also does have Ultraman stuff, they just sell out immediately. Gamma Future had its order closed real fast after they put his preorder page up.

Big In Jap does, and I use them a lot for most of my preorders. They're very reliable, and their markups for their middleman services isn't too bad IMO.

Not a Seihou but - popular character, good accessories, low price. It hardly matters though, its a Toku Figuart so its gone within seconds.

I got mine at AE, the one time I saw the pre-order button at AmiAmi and pressed it they added a ¥30000 Chogokin robot to my cart instead :lol
