Go-Onger 01. This opening episode had some impressive visuals and some great ideas, it was a lot of fun, even if there wasn't a whole lot to it. There were a lot of pretty shameless 'buy this shit' shit in the episode though, and I mean that even by regular sentai standards so I'm hoping it'll calm down a bit later on.

Gokaiger 36.

Wow Go-Onger gets a two parter as well, huh? So is this show huge in Japan or what, what is going on here? At least it was better used than the Hurricaneger two parter.

I mean this episode was genuinely great. MachFalcon is probably the only bit of Gokaiger mecha I'd be interested in buying. The villain factions fighting over the Earth was great, especially as Barizorg and Insarn so rarely get to stretch their legs. And that Go-Onger tribute morph was FANTASTIC.

Yeah the Go-Onger 2-parter was really fun, and fairly in line with the actual series. Good stuff all around.

And seriously I'm not nit-picking here, just clarifying. But the name actually is Machalcon. It's a common misconception that there's an "f" in there. And the Super Megaforce version being called "Turbo Falcon" doesn't help. But it really is just Machalcon.

Over-Time translate it as Mach Falcon in the episode, though?

Yeah they do. There was a reason for it, but it was 2 years ago and possibly the one bit of sub trivia that's slipped my mind :lol

Machalon sounds dumb anyway. I much prefer MachFalcon.

DeadFish had all but two episodes of Changeman done (not sure which ones, DFF was really random about episode order). I'm not sure how good they were or how easy they are to find after Megaupload went down with all of the DFF subs.

They just subbed random episodes?

21 and 25. You don't need either one to get the main plot of the show, but... yeah. I do like 21. Especially because it's about how Hayate (who plays Burai later in Zyu) is tone-death.

Yeah, I don't get that either. Why fansub random episodes? They should be done in order.
