The specific limb peg clip system being changed and/or any change in proportions would render those sets useless for the SS.

Speaking of incompatible modules, I still have all of the modules from that one FMCS box set that had a transparent Fourze. Hoping I could probably just play around with those along with a SS Fourze with some blu-tack and what not.

I think I still have the Fourze around somewhere, tho I lost the flag, which was sadly the best accessory of the box set.

Don't know why exactly they didn't use a free-flowing cape here like they did with SHF Woz Ginga. Would've looked way better.

Actually, Prime Rogue used this... Really weird vinyl material for his cape. Didn't really help in anything, though and only existed to hinder his arms.

Which Rising Hopper is better? The Realizing one or the vanilla Rising Hopper?

Because I saw that the Realizing is a bit less expensive than the vanilla...

Joints and pegs were WAY different, back then, compared to now. SH Figuarts Kamen Rider releases didn't even have the same proportions as what we see nowadays.
The old Wizard effects parts are only compatible with SS Wizard because they didn't really require any pegs or connections, aside from the Big hand. Even then, you could cheat that via perspective.

I don't really blame them for not being able to give Jaou Dragon a cloth cape. He probably has one of the most complex capes we've seen in Kamen Rider. Woz Ginga and Prime Rogue's capes were completely one-dimensional. They were literally just fabric sheets with one color. Jaou dragon's cape is a completely different color on both sides - not to mention that from behind, it has a gold stripe and a black stripe running down the cape.

My main concern is that Prime Rogue's cape was cloth, but it still hindered the shoulder articulation because it was attached to the shoulders. Jaou Dragon's cape is also attached to the shoulders, so if they're going for the soft plastic cape, then we'll probably see something similar to Brave Level 50/100.

It's the same figure with different flavors. Just pick one you like. If you prefer having an accurate version of both Realizing and Rising, get the regular one. If you want a "special" one, well get the Realizing one. Tho, Realizing comes with a stand as a bonus.

A closer-er look at Saikou. Huh, I thought there'd be a clear plastic in front of the decaled eyes. Guess his eyes are just bare plastic and not have clear parts in them.

Pretty much. Prime Rogue is worse tho since the cape is connected straight to the shoulders which mess with the shoulders and look super awkward when you raise his arm to the side.

Nevertheless, hope to catch him in the aftermarket sometime. It's still a neat suit.

How exactly do they see out of those suits anyway? Do they just swing their swords at whatever looks like color when they fight?

The suits used for fight scenes have eyeholes, while the ones used for closeups don’t.

Yeah the Converge figure, which typically does clear pieces on the eyes as a selling point, is also just opaque plastic, so I think it's "suit accurate".

Has anyone ordered directly from the SHFUpgrade website before and if an item is instock what's the approx. time you received it?

I ordered some in-stock items last year from them, stickers and a cape. Took about a month. Some earlier correspondence said air mail packages had a shipping lead time of about 2 weeks to a month. They told me I could use the lower shipping fee since it was mostly stickers and they sent it in a small mailer bag. Not sure what the shipping fee or time would be on larger items like replacement parts

They learned to do cloth capes more instead of the horrendous sectional hard plastic capes that plagued Brave lvl 50 and lvl 100. I own Woz Ginga and his cape just stays stationary but doesn't hinder his articulation like what I just heard about Prime Rogue.

Back then I said something Zero and other Ultras being reissued. You guys have that chance now!

Hey dose anybody know if the SHF Upgrades OOO improved elbow joints work for SS Tajadol as well?

Been watching reviews of the SS Black. It's certainly a very beautiful figure in terms of sculpt, and definitely very ambitious in terms of its joint system. But, yeah, the cracking is apparently a very common issue, meaning that if you plan to get it, you'll need to be very, very careful in how you handle it.

Like, I hadn't planned to get it either way, but it does definitely suck for fans of Black, especially since I do feel it is an overall huge upgrade over the 2.0 in terms of sculpt and proportions.

Wonder what the aftermarket is going to look like for Black. Obviously sealed copies will have a markup, but would collectors dump their damaged figures to the second hand shops in droves? Places like amiami sometimes have really generous discounts on damaged pre-owned items

Is the cracking not intentional or controlled? A lot of rubber and soft material is pre-cut to behave as a non-compliant mechanism in mechanical engineering.

Probably not to the extent that it's happening. It's cracking in ways that heavily detract from the aesthetics and, over time, will wear and tear to the point of just being shreds. On a piece of machinery that's generally an easy enough issue to deal with, relatively speaking, but the way Black is designed it's obvious that replacing the rubber parts is not intended.

Well that doesn't help at all. Then again I probably should've phrased that as cancellation policy. Which... found it and it's not exactly inspiring confidence.

Your best bet may be to just sell it as a pre-sale on ebay or fan forums and have it shipped directly from Tokullectibles to the buyer.
