It's not just his helmet, the logo on his chest actually changes to a Star for Ohranger mode.

So at least it's now consistent that the logos on his body are based on the whichever Gear he's using currently.

Speaking of, those blue and silver armor pieces. I guess they decided to simplify things instead of trying to recreate the intricate area around the neck of the Ohranger suits.

I know the creators of this season has specific reasons they chose the teams they did for the zenkaizer suits, but the only reason I can think of is if ever gets adapted for power rangers they will have teams they've already adapted. I mean the first teammate was based off of Zyyuranger which we all know became the very first team of power rangers. Who knows, maybe those 4 seasons in japan had certain qualities as to why they were chosen.

I actually think that these guys were based upon different milestones in the Super Sentai Series. Zenkaiser is based upon the first Super Sentai, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger/Goranger. Juran is based upon the 16th Super Sentai, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, the basis for the first Season of MMPR. I think that Gaon, based upon the 25th Super Sentai, Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger, Magine, based upon the 29th Super Sentai, Mahou Sentai Magiranger, and Vroon, based upon the 30th Super Sentai, GoGo Sentai Boukenger were chosen similarly. Meanwhile, Twokaiser is based upon the 35th Super Sentai, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, which was the first Major Anniversary Super Sentai. The 2 other Sentai Gears that Twokaiser Uses, the Twokairikki Gear and the Twokaikatanar Gear, are based upon the 19th Super Sentai, Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, and the 33rd Super Sentai, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, respectively. Each Zenkaiger has to be based upon some Milestone in the History of Super Sentai. Whether that be in Japan or in the Foreign Market.
