Just saw teaser images for the next BFTry HG kit. It's called the "A Gundam" & the "A Build Custom" set. Looks to be some variant of the RX-78 with a new gun set for it that looks an awful like a sword/gun hybrid.

This week is also of course when Ral's voice actor is replaced for the forseeable future. It's a shame too. While his fill in is a venerable actor in his own right it's noticeable that it isn't the regular Ral.

Otherwise though a fantastic episode. Swimsuit episodes always welcome ;) but on the action side of things this was solid. Sekai was definitely channeling Captain Gundam with that spinning punch. Winning Gundam is far more effective thatn I thought it would be too. Now knowing that it's a Gunpla Fumina built from scratch makes me appreciate it more. Lightning is also a force to be reckoned with.

I'm still riding the excite train for Build Fighters. Damn it bring on Master Grades Bandai!

Though I have to ask is it a set where you get the parts to build just one with parts to customize, or a full on set of three models to build? Either way I'm buying it since I fucking love the Ez8 and MS Team suits, but if it's a full monty three suit set then I am in heaven.

I would suggest grabbing a pair of tweezerrs and very gently just push it up. If you go slow it should come off without breaking depending on how stuck it is.

Couldn't agree with you more. She was by far the absolute worst character in Victory. I wouldn't consider her a Char clone though so much as an opportunistic, lying, back-stabbing, asshole.

It looks to be one suit with swappable parts. It only costs about 25 bucks on that site so yeah. Still nice though, and even if you buy all three it means you have two spares of each suits parts in case one breaks or you want to customize them.

Just got some nippers today. I was previously using a hobby knife to get the parts off and the difference is night and day

I honestly just used a pair of regular old scissors to cut the pieces off and some nailclippers to clip off the remaining parts of the tree.

Anyways noob question, could I actually just use Gundam markers to paint a kit? I'm thinking of buying the old 1/144 Heavyarms and customizing him color wise, with the Zeon marker set. I'm still a newb at all of this so yeah, don't have a clue if that would work or not.

I decided that if this job comes through I am buying, finally, Robot Spirits. Leo Space and Ares (Regular and Noin) specifically. I love me those OZ mobile suits. Now if I could just find me a Virgo.

I don't think so? I know people have used Gundam markers to cover up some mistakes from their nub marks or to fill in where a sticker would be covered by plastic. But not the entire kit.

I'm aware I can use them to add in missing colors and some touchup details, I'm just not sure if it would even be possible to use them for the entirety of the kit.

I know Vangelus used some on his Gosei Great minipla a few years ago, I heard his painted cracked immediately after his paint video but I don't know the quality of that toy brand's plastic is and what kinds of coat he used to cause that.
