2020 couldn't get weirder than this

Lolita, I know I'm late to the party, but I've literally just in the last fortnight moved from the North to London, so I know how much of a change it can be. The situations aren't entirely the same, but I'm here if you've got any questions / just want to rant. Moving's a stresful time, but knowing what's ahead can make it easier. Or maybe just watch more Karate bugmen for a distraction, that's also a solution.

Just discovered an isekai manga series where a Red Ranger gets isekaied (nothing is safe from Isekaitis it seems!)

It's actually entertaining for once and lampoons a bunch of toku tropes. Hopefully this'll scratch the itch that Akibarangers left behind.

I grew up with the original Animaniacs as a kid and I still consider it to be a noteworthy show. The reboot looks pretty decent unlike the other reboots of kids cartoons from the 80s-2000s.

I just left a community that I've been a part of for the past 16 years. Won't go into specifics, but over time it became more and more clear that I just didn't fit in there. It's sad, but I know it's for the best if I distance myself from it and move on.

I hate how October is ending so soon. It's been a fun month for me and I love the spirit of Halloween.

I don't know if its relevant, but I've noticed that a lot of communities have struggled with the state of the world both politically and with regards to covid. It's all been polarizing and I've witnessed a bunch of tight-knit communities fall apart. Even simple things like Subreddit communities have fallen apart.

So I hope the transition is a graceful one, and that you are able to find another community worthy of your time.

Thanks guys. Again, without going into any major specifics, yeah, the state of the world in 2020 is definitely a big factor of it. There are a handful of other reasons too; Let's just say that for the sake of my own mental state it's probably not a good idea to stick around the types of people that inhibit that community space anymore. Most likely. Excess stimulation to a body part would often lead to irritation down the line.

Reminds me of how I would get hay fever and I would rub my nose and it would feel swollen the next day. Or that one time I got a glass shard stuck up my foot and it would feel swollen even after it was removed.

Try putting some eyedrops or something similar on your eyes, might help.

Just listened to Ranbu Escalation today. Can't believe that Gaim was my first Kamen Rider series and I haven't listened to this absolute masterpiece of a song until today.

The lyrics definitely fit the 'warring states' theme and power struggles prevalent throughout the entire show. Music, rhythm, tone, everything, awesome. 9001/10.

Last night my friends and I finished with season 1 of our Power Rangers tabletop campaign, and it was really fun! My friends all did a wonderful job bringing their characters to life, and as my first time being DM, these past 20 session really have taught me a lot. Season 2 won't be until the New Year, but I'm hoping we can make it even better once we can finally get around to it.

Ha, don't worry, I know what you were getting at with the joke.

But nah, I outright told all my players that rolling new characters would only happen if they outright wanted to or if one of them died. Which uh, has gotten pretty close to happening a couple times, but thankfully everyone's been playing pretty smart so far. Heck, I was honestly expecting a really bad outcome when it came to the final battle of the season(I even had a contingency plan in their favor if it turned out I made the encounter too hard), but everyone ended up doing really well. It was alot of fun!
