Prices on mandarake are going up like crazy...That's why I stopped using them.

Would it be really Mandarake's fault? Demand's surprisingly high for Calibur. I woulda thunk it's something like the Ghost situation where most of the SHFs are would stay around their base price or lower. Which was somewhat the case for both Saber and Blades.

I still was able to find some figuarts at retail prices on some others sites, guess I'm lucky x)

Calibur's not surprising price-wise given the design is very well-liked and his role in the story currently is also important.

So like most important suits nowadays, if it's TWE, it's gonna jump in price.

Only Ore Ghost. Specter and the others stayed around near or lower their base price. And it's due to his later appearance which was well-received by people.

I pray Espada doesn't suffer this. He might, though.

Calibur's demand is all the more reason for me to get Jaou. And also Saikou, since he's probably a lot's fan favorite.

I mean, this is still one of the more unusual ones. If you look at Zero-One for example you'll see Burning Falcon, Thouser, Metal Cluster etc hovering around 6500-8000 Yen. Even the Tamashii-exclusive Shining Hopper is about 7500 usually. It was only ever Horobi and Valkyrie that went higher than that

An upcharge isn't unusual, but one to the degree of 12,000 is pretty exceptional for non-Seihous. The only other non-Seihou in the past like half a decade that matches that is base Cross-Z

I have to admit, it is a really really good looking figure. Villains are also made in lower quantities; even though right now it might be considered a hero suit??

It is definitely one of the best Toku antagonist rider suits in recent memory. I personally think the helmet is exceptional.

The Mandarake price increase is probably just the result of a sudden rush to pick it up now that its out in the wild.

Genm Level 2 and Level X also hit the >12k mark for a long, loooooooong time as well. It wasn't until Level X-0 came along that X itself actually dropped significantly.

Does anybody know whether hobby genki or any sites that ship internationally will carry these figuarts with clear pieces releasing in October 2021?

I missed out on the retail rising hopper, hopping the get the clear one since the realizing version doesn't look that good.

They're not normal releases, they're lottery prizes. So if anything they'll be harder and more expensive to get than the normal releases

Your best chance to find them is second-hand and even then, no guarantees.

It's not the exact choice I would have gone with, but they're using him in place of an antagonistic red-eyed black rider who's yet to get an SHF.

Either way, neat! This is what the actual release should have come with but it's nice to see here. Curious they don't have a red-eyed head and an attache calibur to go with it though

It's downright puzzling for me why it's taking so long. I genuinely can't come up with a possible reason why?? The impulse answer is "Covid", but then why was nothing else delayed, and how come we got no announcement? How does that account for seeing Shauta release before it?

Like has been said elsewhere, we won't feel the true impact on COVID on everything until this year. It doesn't explain everything but generally speaking, a lot comes down to it.

I've been looking forward to a Putotyra release so much that I legit forgot Sagozo hasn't happened yet.
