Actually, thinking about it, I think I might know one possible reason for the hold up on Sagozo; His gauntlets. Given the breaks some people have had with Tabtoba and Gatakiriba, I hope that Tamashii is taking extra precaution with Sagozo, since his arms need to not only support extra weight, but the gauntlets also need to be able to come on and off smoothly to safely replicate his Rocket Punch.

If so I wonder if there is a chance they can utilize some more lightweight yet durable materials for it other than the usual batter to mitigate that possible problem. I mean the tech is probably out there only a matter of will they go that extra mile.

What's with the breakages anyway? I heard it's something to do with the swivels in the joints? In that case why can't they just make the forearms rotate on an inner cylinder instead of directly at the joint?

Is the tamashii event still happening online this weekend cause I don’t see any update on their website with everything going on in Japan. Just asking so I know for sure.

No I think it’s cancelled for good. They might make an extended blog post this weekend teasing a few of the figures they wanted to reveal, but an online version of the event has not been announced yet so I doubt it will happen.

I see ok now I know it cancelled this was the info I was looking for. I hope we see other Saber Figuarts I want to see Buster, Primitive Dragon, and others. I been enjoying Saber so I hype for more Figuarts from the show. I just don’t like how few we seen so far usually we see more around this time.

Yeah I don't like Saber a whole lot but I want to see more Figuarts. Especially the Northern Base Riders which were teased to appear at the event, but I also want Durandal & Sabela.

Durandal especially has a really cool design and we don’t get too many Riders using tridents as a weapon. In fact, how many are there? Only the movie villain from Kiva comes to my mind.

He's... not really been milked at all. In terms of Seihou releases it's just been him, #2, Sakurajima (who was a Tamashii Exclusive) and that's it. He hasn't even had his original colours done yet, nor #2's original colours; and Showa Riders in general just don't happen in Seihou SHF much. This is honestly one of the coolest things they could do, and the least I would expect from his 50th anniversary.

Not to mention original SS Ichigou and Nigou have gotten harder to find and more expensive to own since their release.

It'd be one thing if they've been releasing variation of them consistently since their first run but they really haven't at all.

Are we sure that's just the Seihou? I don't really see a distinct knee joint and it almost looks like the legs are cloth.. Maybe an Imagination Works?

Edit: or maybe I'm just staring too much and seeing things now lol. Does look like there's the upper thigh swivel on the top right that matches the Seihou and wouldn't be there on an IW.

Oh and meant to say: the W and Zi-O re-issues now being PB exclusives? Thank god. It's in more limited quantities than usual with priority given to event winners, but this means it's actually like, possible to get them at all! It's a shame the event had to be cancelled but I'll take this as a silver lining.

They should just give us that Kamen Rider Heisei Ichigo figuarts but in Shin Ichigo colors. And by Heisei Ichigo I mean that Jiro Okamoto suit-acted bulky Ichigo. :lolol

Well damn okay, they really just made the sexiest figure in existence with Seihou Shadow Moon. I knew it would be, but... damn.

Doesn't look like there's any rubber over Shadow Moon's joints so far...fingers crossed this is the case.

I would assume it still has rubber pieces, I doubt they could make the switch back to plastic fast enough since this was probably very far in development before Black was released.

The only thing we can hope for is that the material can be adjusted in its composition and made more durable in production.

Also Web-Exclusive please, I want an actual chance to order it.

Oof, I'm excited for Calibur Jaoh Dragon, but that cape is certainly made of out soft plastic rather than cloth with how stiff it is.

The 6/2 for Calibur is indeed when he goes up for pre-order, the one for Shadow Moon simply refers to the event.

That and you can see that it is 3 different pieces layered so you can articulate it.
