Same I was forced to cancel a bunch of things with them and they were mostly ok with it most of the time.
The only thing that bothers me with amiami is their shit servers...Or else...no complaints.

Yea ... I’m gonna vouch for amiami having a fantastic preowned section, especially for SHF. Being able to consolidate your orders because it’s all from a single warehouse or whatever is very convenient ( unlike say Mandarake and Jungle ). They update daily and if you’re patient you can get a nice haul of stuff you’ve been after

And I’m sure many people here use amiami for So-Do cases, which I don’t think has any stock issues ? I was able to get Gaim wave 1 well after it went on sale and at a discount; and I had no issues at all ordering the Ryuki set. I even ordered the Mafex Batman Hush from them with no hassle at all

It just seems to be an issue with Rider/Ultra SHF, a mix of them being very in demand and Bandai being very conservative with the copies they’re allocating

Preordering SS and Figuarts product is literally the only issue they run into. As a site, they're still a fantastic source for stuff that's in-stock or used thanks to their preowned section.

Don't write off an entire site over what's essentially one issue that, to be honest, isn't even their fault.

For in stock and pre-owned stuff I LOVE AmiAmi. If you haven't looked through their used offerings please do so.

Possibly too good to be true. A friend of mine was psyched about the Amazing Yamaguchi Marvel figures that released a couple years ago, and found insanely low prices on eBay for boxed figures. He bought a few, and when he got them in hand, they were total junk. The boxes seemed legit, but the figures inside were, like, factory defects.

I mean, I am maybe okay rolling the dice on a couple three of these, just to find out.

The Kuuga (and Wizard for 53!!) is what really got me. It's not even that they're just insanely low, either -- you'll then get a curveball of Figma Onyx (Ryuga) being 99?? So I just don't know what's going on here lol

The one piece of evidence in favor of Crazy But Legit is the fact that the website is nearly impossible to navigate and requires deep knowledge of what you're looking for. The search bar at the top disappears when you hover over it with your mouse. (I had to tab over to it, just to be able to type in 'kamen rider'.) Accessing any page feels like you're on dial-up. Half of the picture links are broken. There is no way to sort the search results, and no tagging, so have a blast digging aimlessly through 30+ pages of Kamen Rider stuff.

Like, the website is so bad that it explains why the prices are so low and yet nothing is sold out. You are making up for the savings in time and frustration!

So, here's something troubling. Form the description for the Ex-Aid Hunter Level 5 Figuart:

"New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item (including handmade items). See the seller's listing for full details. See all condition definitions"

That is scraped pretty directly from an auction site. A bunch of the listings have titles like "Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts KAMEN RIDER DEN-O - USA SELLER INSTOCK", which is, again, scraped from an auction site. I'm okay throwing together a $40 order (and I'm 100% using my Apple Card, since it generates a one-time card number for a transaction), but everything about this site is starting to look like it's a scam.

Best to avoid then, gotcha. My Legend Rider Signal Bike quest continues...

Absolutely nothing returned on a google search, their Facebook and various sites icon links all just go to the base site, no sort of page, and their mobile app links are just to the various app stores.

Also a 12.50 Cross-Z Magma being passed off as a legitimate product, yeaaaaah. Too many red flags.

This was for the new hips and face add-on for the SHF Izu. The faces being less than ideal versions of the HG Girl Izu and the hips, well, you can read the above to figure that out.

They apologizin for the miswording due to translation error and say that their staff actually likes these kind of things and did not mean to be of mockery towards the actress.

Of course how you take that is up to you, the situation at the time was a bit amusing or insulting depending on the folk.

Guaranteed USA stock, price should be good enough

The lack of guarantee given the limited numbers made me pass on ShadowMoon at Tokullectibles. It sucks that they aren't able to confirm the number of pieces they'll get thanks to production shortages.

Guess it'll be another wait and see release for me.

Yeah, I preordered Japanese Version in the morning and also preordered the “guaranteed” USA version. Hopefully at least one of them work. Now only need another “guaranteed” release for No. 1 and I am done.
