I'd love for a couple of the Normal/Flying types to become Fairy/Flying to change things up.

I'd like more Flying ONLY types. Tornadus is the only one.

So how long till we get to see the starters fully evolved and the typing for the Legendaries?

When do preorders for X&Y go up? Or are they up already? When I saw the Pokepet feature I knew I had to have it and I knew I had to have it already.

Since they have release dates, I assume they've already gone up.

Dunno whether it's worth doing it on Amazon or wait until it goes up in shops and see if they offer any special stuff.

You could go to your local Target. Mine has little product reservation cards that cost $1 and will basically hold a copy for you once shipments arrive.

Plus you get a free $5 Target Gift Card when you pick up the game! :D
