This might sound like a silly question, but how awesome is Dekaranger compared to SPD? Because I fairly enjoyed SPD.

Dekaranger is better than SPD.
However, SPD is definitely one of the better Power Ranger series. |

Im actually debating what to see next. It is a 3 way tie between, magi, deka, and go-on.

Just finished Zyuranger and Akibaranger S1, so now I'm on to Akibaranger S2, Kyoryuger, Shinkenger and Jetman. I am also looking at starting Dekaranger and Magiranger, because I loved SPD and Mystic Force.
I loved Akibaranger up to about episode 10, where it was still funny, but lost the plot. I didn't find the self-awareness thing funny, I thought it was stupid and ruined some of the jokes and awesomeness of the majority of the season, I was really disappointed. I am so happy it was retconned away in S2, although I miss Mitsuki. Zyuranger was so much fun, I really enjoyed it. Bandora has to be one of the most awesome and funny villians ever next to Warz Gill. I loved her so much! It was weird seeing the Zyuranger costumes in a show that actually had some level of plot after struggling through the filler that was the majority of MMPR. Also, Burai was actually a really interesting character, which is such a change from Tommy who was and always will be one of the most annoying, over-rated gary-stu characters PR has ever had. |

MagiRanger was okay. The villains are really what carries the shows as the rangers are bland, generic, and terrible actors. With the villains, we get several Lovecratian characters (Dagon, N-Ma is pretty much just Cthulhu as even how he first shows up is taken right off the cover of a Call of Cthulhu book) along with villains based off actual monsters like Frankenstein, The Mummy, an Incubus, a vampire, etc.

I think you should try Gosieger next.
|
I am also watching a bit of of Magiranger (among other Sentai shows including Dekaranger on which I liked so far though my mind still prefers SPD) and I am enjoying it so far. Currently going to watch third and fourth episodes of Boukenger and then move on to the third and fourth episodes of Gekiranger and possibly watch the first four episodes of Go-onger and then first four episodes of Shinkenger and even the third and fourth episodes of Goseiger and back to watching at least two subbed episodes of GoGoFive and repeat the process I more or less started with my Sentai viewings as of late.

Yeah, this is the basically closest thing I'm doing in trying set up some sort of schedule or at the very least, trying to have some form of consistency in watching Super Sentai just by watching at least 2-4 episodes at a time per series unless I ended up watching a multi-part story arc on in which case I will stop right around its resolution or if the story ends on an odd numbered episode, an episode afterwards. It helps that a lot of it is on Youtube. If you want, I can tell you on how am I progressing in my Sentai viewings so far. ;) |

Boukenger Task 27, The Feng Shui Fortune Telling Trap. The Jaryuu triber Towlon gets his hands on a Precious in the form of a Feng Shui Compass Board, and uses it to give Chief incredibly bad luck. Mostly a comedy episode with Cheif's pratfalls, and then Boukenred appearing in a ridiculous costume at the end with the good luck charms that his teammates got him. Towlon is a good monster -- very appropriate that the monster who masters Feng Shui is a Chinese dragon, yes?

The wife and I just finished Gokaiger last night. It was a really fun series and I love the main cast and villains. The final episode was pretty epic. We're sad that it's over but enjoyed it while it lasted. We'll probably tackle Go-onger next though I'm not sure yet.
|
Just finished Battle Fever J episode 6 a great episode focusing on the team. I like how it moves away from some of the ridiculous parts and keeps its seriousness. I love this series so far.

There are subbing problems with boukenger? This might be because im so used to OT subs but i dont see any problems here.
|
I don't know why, but I could never get into Bouken.
Perhaps a candidate for the next LWW if we don't watch Black? |

What would you name Chopper?
GekiWhite? GekiOrange? GekiRhino? *Shrugs* Anyway, watched more Geki because I have poor self control and was extremely bored. I love this show :lol (I'll actually talk about what happened next Wednesday) |
